This is going to depend on a number of variables - even at idle the temp will move. What temps are you experiencing?

Hope this helps, after installing the darton sleeves an a Koyo 38MM rad in my motor last fall my motor idled around 200 to 210F at 70 ambient temp. the same while running down the highway. Because I have twin turbos I cannot go WOT for more than a few seconds (too fast for a public roadway), but i never noticed a temp spike. Once summer arrived and ambient temp. were in the high 90's the motor would overheat at idle in 20 to 30 minutes an even quicker with the AC on. The engine ran 210 to 215 down the highway. About a month ago I installed a GTM 14" spal radiator fan shroud and an external oil cooler with a spal PWM fan controller. Now the engine idles 185 to 195F with the AC on all day long, same driving down the road. To summerize; the Darton sleeved motors are more prone to overheat at idle than when pulling a load IMO.

No issues with mine, I have Koyo 53mm rad, Nismo thermostat and Setrab oil cooler and stock fans.

It is always hot here in South Florida, right now in summer in the 90's+ it idles between 90-100c if I sit for a while, it cruises between 80-90C

I also have a setrab oil cooler, nismo thermostat and Koyo R 53mm radiator which help keep the temps in check.

GTM fan kit FTW. Especially if you live in the desert.

yeah, one thing I did notice was the lower temps during cruising when I installed the Nismo V2 bumper, bigger opening and more space around the front, around 5 degC lower and during the cooler winter temps or at night if it gets down to 70 deg F the coolant temp will hover around 70-80C
