After turbo rebuild still smoking!
They want to continue the diagnostic work and try to find a definitive answer as to what it is, or at least rule out the simpler explanations - they have no problem with me sending the car elsewhere, they just want to make sure it isn't a little problem that could easily be fixed... which after every test it seems that it is not just a little problem anymore.
make sure they put the a/c back in, where ever you go for your work. Maybe that'll turn MRS. Kaira around on the car.
Good luck man, hit me up for anything Nissan/Infiniti that you (or your family) may need. I got these VPP's burning a hole in my pocket

well, right now I don't think it is coming out of the turbo because the oil is seeping from where the turbo meets the exhaust manifold. It is possible it is coming out of the turbo, but being that high seems to be an unlikely source, so it is probably coming down from the engine.

turns out there was either a bent or stuck valve in the engine. Dave@FT used a bore scope, but couldn't find anything definitive. At that point I was going to sell the car so I decided to sell the engine as is.
The turbo's were fine though.

I sold the engine as is, the leakdown test did not show anything according to either shop. Both shops did find that one cylinder had much lower compression than the others.
