Default Anyone using AccessPORT exclusively for FI?

I saw a G35 hooked up on a dyno in NJ, Vortech kit, Volk rims, Project mu brakes, running strictly an AccessPORT...does anyone here own this? I'd love to ride in it and see how it drives.....I dropped HUGE money on my Haltech, flash, etc, I'd go ape-**** if it ran the same/better.

No... Cobb Accessport is not Uprev but they are both ECU reflash style systems, retaining stock maf and such. Wasn't sure if your were looking for some feed back on reflash style systems or Cobb specifically...

on a vortech, i'd bet it would drive the exact same between the Haltech and any reflash. You'd be silly to spend 2k on a EMS for a vortech!

Yep, that's what the "mule" was running at Carolina Motorsports Park.
I think Momentum's base ST kit will be just an UpRev reflash too.

I'd check with Bobby or Scott @ Momentum.

i think there were some shop build threads where gtm was only doing osiris flashes on tt hr cars too...but that's obviously neither here nor there since op is looking for cobb specific builds.

I'm bringing this thread back from the grave....

the kid with the vortech running strictly the Cobb access port is a personal friend of mine. He lives in CT but took the car to NJ for the install and tune to be done. He's stock block running the vortech with 450 to the rollers on the Cobb AP. However the guy he had do the tune is actually one of the developers of the software platform for the Cobb so the guy knows the Cobb inside and out since he helped develop it.

I'm getting ready to install Greddy twins on stock block and run the Cobb, have it tuned by the same guy and leave the kit around 8psi until I do my built motor next summer

funny you bring this back up..

I'm actually bringing it to Akuma to see what it pulls in comparison to some GTR's (i've been curious to see how much power it makes compared to one). I've only seen this single VQ tuned by John (co-owner and tuner). They are doing work on my buddy's STi and have yet to see the final results. I would just take my car right back to F:T any day of the week to up the boost and tweak the tune, but there is this whole 300-miles-away thing, and Akuma is only 15 minutes. I'm bored with my 9 psi.

Go with someone i know and trust, but drive 5 hours, or go to someone who is supposedly good and only 15 minutes away....
