Default VQ Drag motor build

Hi all,
new to the forum and looking for some advice, I've had a search around but have some specific questions so any advice is greatly received.

I have a tuning shop here in the UK and we tune Skyline's, i'm in the process of building a new tube chassis car and was going to power it with a RB series engine but have changed my mind to the VQ35 instead. I've bought a 2006 rev up motor as a base and have a target figure of around 1500 hp with race fuel, the car is strictly drag (non road class) and i dont expect to see lots of miles between engine refreshes but I do want the motor to stay together so to those with experience is there any issues with the block it's self that needs to be addressed? I had planed on keeping the stock crankshaft unless that is an issue (rb cranks are really strong), other wise I will go stroker.

Thanks in advance
Garth.

If building for that kind of power everything needs to be addressed. Also in drag racing every .1 counts. Why swap in a heavier engine setup? Smart decision to keep the vq also 4.2l vs a 3.0 in terms of available displacements .

Swap to the HR block. Much more rigid.

We have done extensive testing on the VQ engine/block from stock form up to dry-sump/aluminum rodded engines that can with stand high power and revs. I would be happy to give you a few pointers if you need - feel free to drop me a line.
