Default Rear Mount Twin Turbo

Ive been running over creative ideas for inovative turbo options for my next build and stumbled across the STS lables turbo chargers. Im familiar with their single kit and know its flaws and its advantages. I personaly love the sound of the turbos through the exhaust (911 turbo + straight pipes = ultimate :-D). Ive been running the idea of doing twin turbo rear mount setup utilizing the STS universaltwin turbo kit, upgrading all the parts to good stuff.
Turbos - Turbonetics gtk 350 x2
Intercooler - will utlize one intercooler in each side of the g35 front bumper to allow air flow much like the JWT and SFR kits.
EMS - FCON V pro with all asessories
Fuel - DW 600cc injectors
Meth- Alcohol injection Systems
wastegate - tial 38MM open dumped
Blow off valve - Tial 50mm
Gauges - zeitronix touch screen + HKS navigator
Boost controll - HKS evc VI

I was wondering if anyone has done this or any input in general so i can get some feed back and continue to look into design and ferther research.

They make one for the gto. But my question is why? All kits for the Z are perfect for your every need. More power get this one, more mid range buy this, dyno queen get this one.

That is a serious kit that I would not 'fix' until it broke.

What are you doing for the piping? Theres only so much room under the Z/G. I dont think 2 pipes going back and 2 coming forward would work. I guess you could merge the test pipes together into 1 3 inch pipe that splits off to each turbo. Then have the pipes coming from the turbos merge together to a single 3 inch pipe going forward to a SINGLE intercooler. 2 intercoolers means more pipe. Sounds ambitious but impractical. GL if you decide to keep going.

no reason you cant do it. fab should be fairly easy and straight forward. Sizing the turbos correctly would be the only thing since the exhaust has soo much length to cover.
Probably be easiest to buy the single kit specific for the Z and modding the uppipe and IC pipe

will the vq35 generate enough exhaust pressure to spool both turbos?

It would be the same as a true dual basically.

I would make sure that you ride around in the regular STS kit first so you can see how they run.

+1 The sound is amazing but if you want big power then Front-Mount > Rear-Mount. I have a rear-mount and I'm happy but when the time comes when I'm ready to build my motor then I'm leaning toward switching to a front-mount. The sound is just amazing that it is hard to let go though.. lol

i understand lag would be logner due to the physical aspect of the gas having to travel farther. but im going to be using relativly small turbos so lag shouldn't be too out of control. My biggest question is with all the DIY people on this site no one has attempted this? I don't want to be having to fight a uphill battle to get this turbo kit to work efficently.
