I started removing the evap junk out of my car... I got a code which I expected, I can not remember the number off the top of my head. My question is to the gurus or anyone one else who might know. Do you just leave the code and move on or did you add a resistor or something to trick the ecu that it is still there.
I will move to the rear of the car now to remove the carcoal box and other misc. garbage.
So far I have filled up 2 times since the evap stuff has been removed from under the hood and no filling issues knock on wood.
To remove extra equipment, hoses, etc. The evaporative system exists solely for the purpose of minimizing hydrocarbon (fuel vapor) release to the atmosphere.
^are you running -10an or bigger? 2x -8AN fits easily under the car.
Being that the evap line is the largest tube running under the car it is nice to remove it and have that opened up even if you are only putting a -6 in the place of it.
hmm, i guess i never bothered to think what those other lines were. I'm using a hardline between the motor and the tank (CJM stage2) with the stock gas line removed and it fits nicely.
any updates to this removal. I am in the process of removal and thinking that we might need some sort of check valve on the breather line off the tank, any thoughts

I jus installed a check valve on the purge line off the canister.. I didn't remove the whole thing yet, but prolly will in the future.. I jus wanted to get the smell of fuel which was pumped directly in to my car gone....
I haven't driven since I did it but the smell is now gone.. I rerouted the hose towards the back of the car then stuck a check on it...
