Has anyone every had a larger crank pulley installed on there S/C Z, if so what dimensions was used ?

Yea, I tried.. but no results. I dont think anyone has tried to to get a larger crank pulley. I measured it and its about 6". there is only a little play between the crank and water pump pulley so i think the largest i can make one is about 6.25" or 6.3". just wanted to see if anyone has tried it before.

I would just upgrade to a larger pulley set of the manufacturer of your supercharger it would be easier. IMO

It was I don't know what happened. It was just a large search anyway. He will get the FI forums figured out.

 

i tried asking that a while ago but no one's done it.

You'd need a custom made one, and if you were going that far, might as well make it an 8 rib and go with 8 rib accessory pulleys as well.

 

The ATI pulley is larger diameter.

 

This is intresting I want to find out also.

 

Stock is 5.75. You will save alot more money by getting smaller pullies for the S/C.

 

I have the smallest for my charger its 2.4", cannot go any smaller.

 

I have a custom supercharger crank pulley that I had made that has a larger diameter 8-rib section. However, it required some custom work to make it fit. If memory serves me right my crank pulley is 7" diameter.

+1. ATI is slightly OD and is what I use on my S/C setup.

 

So let me get this right the bigger the crank pulley then what? I've heard of this from a guy who builds crank pulleys in Texas. I know it is suppose to help with belt wrap. What size is the ATI pulley?
