I also have to echo the sentiments of this not being your DD. Little things will pop up and cause some down time........it is inevitable. Taking it to Shariff will cut on down on this risk and you will leave with a car you know you can push and be safe. I would certainly set aside a few thousand at least for a worst case scenario situation. You may also want to consider putting the car on a trailor for the trip to Forged. That way if something doesn't check out you can return to the dealership without putting 1000+ miles on the car.

Well lets just hope it all checks out.........I would think you would have some recourse if shariff takes a look and parts as advertised aren't there.

Yea Ill give sharif the mod list and see if it has everything as stated by the dealership. I just wanna make sure it has the hks fcon v pro.....where is this usually installed? In the center consol theres some sort of connection thats attached to a cord; its long and flat. Theres also like a phone jack connection thinge that comes out by the rear view mirror

Yeah, SGP was an FCon dealer & tuner. Mark Gust tuned the cars himself.

Bummer I was hoping that the car was built during Kyle's tenure at SGP.

Juice+... I know this may sound a bit extreme or paranoid... But I highly recommend that you have that SGP "built" auto trans torn down and inspected immediately. Based on your comment about the shifts, it sounds like the valvebody was done. But you should have the internals inspected to see that the clutch packs have been upgraded on both the direct and input clutches from the standard 6 clutch plates to 8 clutch plates. It's a kit for our trans made by Alto called the Power Pack.

Myself and another AZ customer (mrg1981) got scammed on our SGP "fully built" auto trans purchases and discovered that the clutch packs were not upgraded. Trust me. It will be much cheaper to have it inspected now and fix/upgrade the internals than to wait until the trans fails.

Thanks.
It can be HKS custom one they made in house. Anyway speed force racing used HKS muffler.

Edit: You can shoot PM to speed force racing owner if you want to confirm, he is our sponsor.

Whats the usual price of something like this? When I take it to forged can they do this? All these comments about sgp is making me scared to drive it.

thats a pretty good bit of labor to check the packs, so it will prolly cost a few hundred bucks.

I dont know if you have to go to forged to do that. a local tranny shop should be able do it for you as well.
