- you'll need to get a non-revup bracket
- the charge piping may be a little different where it enters & leaves the intercooler

Read this...

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...questions.html

It also shows the difference betweem the revup and non-revup Vortech kits...there are significant differences as stated previously...

Here you go...I just posted this in another thread.

"We have done this conversion before. Now, lets see....

The things that are the same:
* Head Unit
* Intercooler
* Discharge Assembly
* Fuel Pump Assembly
* Air Intake Assembly & Filter

Things that are different:
* Main Mounting Bracket Assembly (Around $579.00)
* FMU Assembly (Just needs to be recalibrated and converted to the spring model which cost around $53.00)
* Chip/Stand Alone (Around $810.00)
* Pulley on the blower (Around $89.00)
* Cog Belt ($46.00)

See, the good thing about both kits is that they use a lot of the same parts. And Vortech makes it easy, by allowing us to buy the individual assemblies that are needed. So it will cost around $1,600.00 to convert a Rev-up to a Non Rev-up model. And it should function the same as if you bought the whole complete system.

You just need to speak to the right people. =)"

Well...this is what I do for a living...I sell blowers and the parts for it. =) And being Vortech's largest distributor I tend to know a little more than the average person....and having a 350z with a Vortech on it, also helps too...lol

But, yea it can be done. You just got to see if the extra cost is worth it.

I'm just happy I got to help you out.

Nope, sorry. No one will have those seals. Vortech will not sell any internal parts for their blowers. So finding the correct seal is a big pain in the butt.

Why not just buy someone's used DE 350Z kit? Unless you're getting an incredible deal on that G35 kit, it seems like a lot more trouble/expense than its worth.

On the other hand you may be able to resell some of the G parts to someone trying to do the opposite of what you are.
