Does anyone know what the HKS GT supercharger compares o as far as voulme of air (not psi), like vortech has trim levels, S or T....anyone have numbers. HKS talks abot having a 9.4:1 output ration is this what im lookin for?

 

go with a complete vortech kit and go to vinny ten racing since ur in long island and go right to the 3.12 pulley imo, they are in west babylon ny, they have tuned me and my car has been pretty strong since i went there, good guys, if u do go there or contact him tell vinny tyler with the vortech z sent u.. the vortech is more capable of making power, the out of the box stock pulley and tune are very very safe, imo go right to the 3.12 pulley and have it re-tuned and call it a day for a while on stock internals and all...its alot of fun, all in what u are looking for though... http://vinnytenracing.com/, they are a dealer of vortech also and tune ss box which the vortech comes with for ems

 

im really not too familiar with the hks kit but the numbers ive seen have not impressed me especially for the cost and all..plus it would make it easier to stay local and have a very good place do it...good luck in whatever u choose, do ur homework

 

thanks for all the info im always wondering about goin over to vinny ten im right around the corner. I already picked up the hks kit, i bought it from Marble, its the GTM stage 5 with the 10psi pulley and the supercharger mod...i feel like i got a good deal on it. What ecu did u use i know they are big on hyda...did u do a flash?

 

im just running the ss box that comes with the complete vortech kit...its a piggy-back, hydra is a full stand-alone which yes vinny ten is big into, but as far as a piggy back vinny uses ss box which is why i went there...they run the hydra on supras and z's and g's as well as ss box and nothing else really...at some point when i build the motor and take things further i will most likely run the hydra and have vinny set me up.. and no i have no reflash, have never thrown a code or had a problem, runs great and pretty strong for what it is..im happy with it for a daily driver

 

Sounds like they hooked u up. Im gunna go check em out and see if they are interested in tuning my car, however with no sso box bein its not a vortech, i hope they are gettin into uprev cuz the hydra is excessive for my stock internals...that my opinion anyway

 

yeah very good people, but they do not deal with uprev, if u want uprev performance motorsports i think it is called in long island has uprev now...do u have a ems right now? or did u buy the kit as a tuner kit? osiris will cost u quite a bit and is a very good solution that i have thought about also...u will most likely have to upgrade the maf with it and i think it totals up to be around a grand or a little more..are u gonna run different injectors? fuel pump? for a cheap solution i dont see why u couldnt get an inline pump, and fmu and ss box through vinny and have him tune that..it does the trick very well for me and he is very good with it, u could maybe even get by with the stock injectors that way or the ss box he can scale up to 550's...idk throwing ideas out for ya.

I do not have an ems right now. AAM flashed my ecu when i did all my bolt on N/A stuff. I am goin to do 600 DWorks, an AAM stage 1 return (i am aware its not necessary), a Walboro, and thats pretty much it besides the tune. I bought my headers from performance and i got a couple buddies that get fab work done over there, but i dont know who i trust to do the tune im really just lookin for people who have experience with either one of the two and u have good things to say about vinny ten.

 

but if uprev is what u want vtr does not have it, and performance does, and ive heard thats all performance is usiing now since they like it so much...im sure u will be fine with them if u go osiris
