Best clutch/flywheel setup for f.i. 450 h.p. Range?
I have stock flywheel and Stage 5 street disc........guess having oh 150ft-lb+ more tq than its rated for finally did it in lol....
Talking with them on a few things though.

I went with an Exedy chromoly steel flywheel and a southbend stage 5 clutch and love it.

yeah no spring internall that I know of on the stock throttle body - that's sorta what makes it drive by wire
Easy way to check I would guess is at idle (car running), see what TPS is at. Should be a very low % or voltage #, depending on how that ecu displays the data. Next things would be to see what cam timing, injector pulsewidth and ignition timing are doing. Hopefully you can draw some correlations with all that data and figure it out

Sounds like you had a clutch fluid bleeding issue, that would have nothing to do with the clutch itself.
ALL aftermarket flywheels for the 350Z cause that drivetrain noise. It's a function of them not damping the vibrations from the motor like the stock dual mass unit. It doesn't mean they "suck azz". My Carbonetic setup is even louder than the JWT setup was.

If you have owned one and draged you would understand. The hotter they get the worse they are. For NA jwt would be the way to go. That is from my experience with the JWT clutch and flywheel.
Read post #6 in this thread. I HAVE owned the JWT setup and drag raced with it EXTENSIVELY.
the act street clutch has performed flawlessly for me for over 3 years of forced induction daily driving. I have been very impressed with this clutch. I am also using it with the ACT Prolite flywheel.

JWT, even though I really don't like the company, their clutch is great for that torque level (clutches hold torque not HP, HP doesn't matter in this discussion).
Worked great both in terms of streetability and ability to handle launches on slicks producing 1.6 60' times and 11.5s at the track, over and over and over. Great setup.
