Anyone know what the adverse effect would be by not running a swirl jet that the Turbonetics instructions ask to be removed with a CJM Fuel Return System?
If you are putting in a CJM system according to Charles you should keep it. I think the CJM system needs it to function per Charle's design.

Anyone know where I can get a Swirl jet from since it's not available separately from the dealer?
Reason I ask is that I bought a used fuel basket that has a Walbro already in it and noticed that it was missing the Swirl jets. The seller confirmed it was used in a Turbonetics system so I looked up those instructions.

the swirl jet creates a venturi to fill the canister and direct return fuel into the canister, both of course to keep fuel by the pump.
if there are holes like that shown in the canister, then it doesnt really make a difference anyway, because fuel will be able to get to the pump just fine thru those holes... however the holes will greatly sacrifice fuel control.
i have spoken to many turbonetics owners who complained of fuel starvation issues in turns and acceleration without a functional can and when getting to about 1/3 a tank and below.
if the holes are not there, and the swirl jet is missing... then you really risk starving the pump because the fuel filling into the can will be pretty poor once the fuel is low enough to no longer fill in over the top.
as you know, you cannot buy that part seperately anywhere. only someone who removed it would have one.
