yes eventually there will be an available back to back comparison... but most people that pick up a manifold of this style will be in the middle of crazy builds where there is no "before".

we already have the AFTER dyno... it was like 1248rwhp or something right LOL, just no before. that intake manifold had a different plenum cap for different throttle location but the runner section is almost the same, we barely reshaped it.

There is always a before if they just built, maybe not a same day before.. But you know what i mean..

I love the manifold, but dunno.. We dont know much about it..

Cosworth isnt perfect in any way.. I know a few with leak probs etc.. Scary..

you must think with a race car attitude!!! rerouting the harness and piping to this configuration makes much more sense for a high power car that is frequently serviced. guess what i have to pull off to remove my valvecovers? nothing. get to my exhaust manifold bolts? nothing. change/check the plugs? nothing. the only reason i have to take off the intake manifold is if i want to get to the fuel rails.

all those changes are for the better regardless of the intake manifold. my IC to TB pipe is 12"... yours is like 12 feet

we didnt put the throttle there just to be a pain in everyones ***, we put it there because in every way on an extreme performance vehicle it makes more sense... it will perform better and increase serviceability!

i am not trying to defend or put you on the defense... just trying to explain to who our customer base is, why in the hell we made something that is not going to bolt onto ANYONES car! But again, I promise, we can make anyone one that bolts on also.

and of course we made it so that it fits with tall aftermarket injectors and CJM rails, but we did put in walls to block fitment with AAM rails (j/k)

Thats a better explanation of your design.. Makes A LOT of sense.. I like those +'s, we still dont know a final price.. But 2k(Not sure if thats your final price), plus rerouting wiring (what would u price that for labor?)+400 for intakes rerouted+re tune, MOD Hood($), around 3-4k... Sound right??

Im not on the defense btw, I am looking for a better manifold than the Cosworth, hoping you (CJM) would be almost done/ providing that.. But after today, Im kinda disappointed in the route it went for price being over 4-5k IMO..

Nice! Turning that elbow the opposite direction would work well and very efficiently with the PowerLab kit. Hmmm...

how does the volume of this manifold compare to anything else (stock, etc)

that front TB would be awesome for a single or SC drag car with no IC. prolly pick up 2-3psi right there.

its huge... when im done using it for mockup ill get a more accurate measurement, but i believe i stopped measuring at 6L before I had a gasket for it and there was a ways to go. this manifold has tons of real estate on the inside.... if anyone had a cosworth laying around they wanted to test that would be great.

he had two IIRC, the 'Coffin' style and the dual intake with all the crazy piping.

The coffin was expensive from what I recall, I don't think it ended up producing gains, or at least shown.

the dual intake was the same issues as this intake for most people (an extra 2-3k in labor and parts to get it fit) and again, I don't think anyone ever showed gains with it.

but I could be completely wrong, I haven't seen a thing about his intakes for a while. he also makes them each one off IIRC, so he very well could be producing them still in some iteration.

Ok.. I hope this is easier than it looks and the price point is lower than 2k at some time...

This wont fit a stock hood correct Phunk/CJM? Would I have to cut a hole in my hood?

weaksauce 500hp cars need not apply

Thats a good more volume. Awesome. How much more was the SP racing style with the OEM TB mount? Are these made to use the OEM TB or a bigger cable TB?

Yes, Even if the part had nothing to do with dyno results, and you were going to just put it on your wall for decor... its at least over 5 grand in machine time and CAD work. Could be a couple grand even higher if we counted all the time and billed it machine time hourly.
