Default aps, gtm or jwt?

All seem to be about the same price but the aps one is with journal bearings. its a bit extra for the ball bearing ones.
Im in australia, so APS would probably be a benefit from a support/tuning point of view.
Is there anything about the gtm or jwt kits that are substantially better?

thanks guys
Rob

greddy wont fit my Right Hand Drive.
just realised jwt can't be sold mail order, and APS no longer have kits available in the states.

I guess the choice is simple for GTM. sorry to be a noob!
Any opinions on GTM? i'll probably go ahead with one of those.

IMO...you cant go wrong with the GTM kit.....plus they are a vendor on here....the last thing they want is for an unhappy customer to post...Give them a call.

If you are down in Australia it will be more better for you to just go the APS way but if you got the money go with GTM. Either buy their stuff or ship your car to them. Super stop quality products awesome customer service all the freaking time. Can't wait to get my car back from them. Talk to Mike (909) 481-4300.

APS won't sell me the kit unless i buy it installed from their dealer for au$15000 or about US$13500 plus they don't have a experienced rep in my state. GTM is probably the go. thanks!

Ah ok...well then. Cost effective would be to do the APS (but I have not heard good things about APS from others that have their kits installed) + Installed + Tuned but if you got the money to ship your car to GTM (GTM rules dude). Do it! This way you got Sam (the super pro tuner) that can tune your car while it's there.

^^^^

What does it cost to ship a car from Australia to CA, then back. It probably won't be cheap. There are a lot of gearheads in Australia, so perhaps the OP will be able to find a good shop down there to install and/or tune at a reasonable price.

I heard a nasty rumour that APS have stopped making the kits, so you may be out of luck (I have not confirmed this or heard it confirmed). If you do find one though, there are a few places over east that do them. CnJ Motorsports in Brisbane would be my choice. Take the car over, holiday at the Gold Coast while its getting done. Drive home Failing that if you can order a kit from the US, go see Tim Slako at West Racing Developments. He is one of the APS dealers over here.

There is a bloke here in Aus currently talking to GTM about getting a kit modified to suit our cars, best bet would be to call them, and see what the go is.

On a side note, have you thought about the HKS setups?

Thanks for all the reply's guys.
I'm likely to go with a gtm kit and fit the kit myself. I don't need a workshop to do it for me.

Thanks
Rob

yeah it sucks that APS force aussie customers to buy installed from a dealer and wont just sell you the kit, they also force you to buy their exhaust.
personaly id go with the GTM kit and self install or get a local shop to do it.
I'll be doing something similar myself in the next couple of months although i think im going to go the vortech route.
The way the aussie $ is atm (AU$1=US$0.93)its an awesome time to buy!
