One could imagine on a car like Wongy;s with a 4.2L stroker, it would be beneficial. I think something like my car with only a 3.5l and cams, money could be better spent elsewhere.

still look nice though!

This Toyota is pushing 400,000 k.....
248548 MILES to bring this thing back i think it needs a new engine, i dont have the patience to hunt one down and put it ill while i have a turbo sitting on my floor taunting me. YES its taunting me.

Toyota products = Best DD ever

My '97 Lexus Truck has 220k on it and runs like a champ, gonna runs that truck till the wheels come off. Had some offer to buy it from me this year and I just couldn't stand to part with it.

The kit looks awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing it in action. In for updates.

ah, those engines are a dime a dozen (at least here in the states). go snag one and swap it out. I'm sure you can get one for cheap with 100k on it.

most parts places like jegs, summit, etc, will offer rebuild kits with pistons and rings and stuff.

Also, smoking doesn't mean the motor is going to blow. It just means there is blowby so the rings aren't sealing. I would try some lucas or some ring-free on it first to see if you can hold off the oil burning!

Engines up here are still expensive, i was looking at them a while ago, they are 900 bucks. The truck also has a leaky main seal, burns oil, syncros are going on the tranny, we also figure the head gaskets need replacement. To much work to keep a 900 dollar truck alive

900$ on that crappy small engine?!? you can get a used vq35 for less! lol

buy a little honda civic or accord. they'll drive forever and are cheap as crap to fix. spend that 900$ on a civic or a new truck motor.

So true! I kept having the dent guy come out and take out the dings and I kept getting more dings.LOL. So finally I left one ding in there and havent gotten any more in two years. I am now afraid to have that one ding removed in fear of 4 of them taking its place
