Hmmm. Sounds Familiar. Glad you got those bugs worked out. Yeah, saving a few bucks on a cheapie exhaust off of e-bay was a fail for me too. Glad I don't have those woe's anymore.

Sweeet Dyno! Thanks for sharing.

Any exhasut that bolts up to the OEM Y-pipe will bolt up to this kit. It's that simple. I do not know if your Nismo will flow enough, I am sure if you dump the wastegate to atmosphere that it would be fine.

The Y pipe is removed with this setup.

Quick run through 2nd -4th on the higway today. Still cold out (40deg F today) so I couldn't really push it too hard, lots of clutch feathering.

Soooooooooooooo tempting... I really must get the car up in the air to take pics of starter position as such for RHD cars... from memory I dont think they differ between the two though.

I've read every page and I don't even own a Z. I've gone thru 2 G35 sedans and now on an fx. I want to get the new G37 coupe some day. I definitely would get this kit. Great fab, install, and out come! Great job!

Thanks^^^

I am done with the jigs and have 4 sets of exhaust systems built. The jigs work great, I have test fitted every set and fitment is just perfect. This is the hardest part of building a turbo kit, because every bolt hole has to line up just right. So not that the hard part is done, I am looking at having a group buy with 5 kits ready to go.

The install instruction are done as well. Nice large color pictures (some pictures are a full page) just to make things easier when it comes to installs. I hate seeing instruction that don't have a single picture in them, so I made sure that they are to my liking.

Default Comment/Q

I've just spent a good while from page 1 to this page 21... some awesome reading and picture drooling!

Some Q's:

What type of warranty would you offer on these kits?

Would I be able to install this kit? (hard question but I'm pretty handy with a spanner and done a few mods under and in the engine already)

Would I not need a return system for the bigger injectors?

I might have missed this if there is another thread but is there anywhere were you can see the full kit laid out and read the install manual?

How long from order until delivery of this kit?

What aftersupport would you offer?
(I'd like to know that I can ask questions during build and then possibly have some mapping q's assistance with my own Haltech setup)

Do you have any pictures on the wiring up of the haltech unit currently? Install location and MAP connection.

Again hats of and massive ***** for undertaking this project! I'd love to be able to support you in getting one of your kits!

Cheers
Anders

1 year warranty on the kit. I have replacement parts in stock and would ship ASAP if something fails

Would I be able to install this kit? (hard question but I'm pretty handy with a spanner and done a few mods under and in the engine already)

This is a VERY DIY friendly kit, and if you can do your own oil change, you can install this kit.

No, unless you are aming for 450+whp

I have not taken a picture of the kit layed out, it is something I will do in the near future. I can email you the manual.

How long from order until delivery of this kit?

I need a deposit up front, and would provide tracking number within 3 weeks, unless some of the parts are on back order. I have had a couple of people tell me that they will be buying the kit "for sure". I end up ordering the parts and pay extra to have them here ASAP, only to have the buyer say the changed their mind. Howeve, I am aming to have at least tow kits on standby ready to ship at all times.

What aftersupport would you offer?
(I'd like to know that I can ask questions during build and then possibly have some mapping q's assistance with my own Haltech setup)

If you have a Haltech I can provide you with a base map. Any questions/support you may need, I would provide by email or by phone

Do you have any pictures on the wiring up of the haltech unit currently? Install location and MAP connection.

The Haltech EMS is a plug'n play unit. There is no "wiring" required, unless you are doing your own splicing for dual channel O2 senors, or something of that nature. The wiring for the scavenge pump is all premade. All you have to do is remove a fuse from the fuse box and plugh in a "add a circuit" connector. Very easy, not one wire needs to be spliced/cut during the install.

Again hats of and massive ***** for undertaking this project! I'd love to be able to support you in getting one of your kits!

Cheers
Anders

ya, and as an addition to sasha's reply:

Haltech has it's own support. If you spend the money on a haltech then Hal will definitely make sure you get it setup correctly. He's a very helpful person and goes out of his way for his customers.

Just wanted to bump this. Many PM's lookig for more information on the kit.

I might as well add that I have been DD the car for a while now with the new reconfigured set up. Drives perfect, no issues at all except traction ofcourse.

Also drove it in the rain/melting snow and typical spring condition. No signs of moisture on the air filter or intake. I know some were concerned so i though I mention it.

Also happy to say that I now get my quality parts from Inected Performance. Great guys to deal with.

EDIT:

Forgot to mention, I reset the trip meter on the car the other morning before going to work. I wanted to see what kind of mileage I can get. The trip to work is 95% highway over 20 miles, and I got 39.1miles/gallon. Very impressive, and this is Haltech self adjusting while staying under 25% load.

I doubt the mileage calculations are very accurate after upgrading to larger injectors.

Yeah it could be off a bit.

It does however fall down to 15 or so when I really "drive" the car.
