FI clutch options for ~600 rwhp
Carbonetics twin - quiet (my car is loud and idles high though), streetable - its OK around town with just a bit of grabbiness, holds power - or did, but I may have cooked it now, but I bought it used and have many a dyno and street pull on this one.
I will most likely rebuild and turn it into a triple disc setup. The only downside I have found is that if you get stuck in an accident or heavy traffic and the clutch gets hot it will become very grabby - basically instant engagement - and is very embarassing to drive like that.

Carbonetics Triple
Holds every time you need it to
Overkill IMO for that power though, but its been good to me. When it gets used a lot, it actually holds to well launching/coming off lights

I had a Clutchmasters single sprung FX400 and it held fine but a couple of weeks ago it broke, one of the springs broke off, the clutch disc surface and flywheel looked great.
New clutch is the twin disc OS Giken, I am still braking it in but it holds nicely and engagement is stock like as well as pedal feel.
Another clutch I just saw at SEMA is the Spec, it looks like a nice unit, but have no personal experience with it

I had the Clutchmasters FX600 twin disk. It fried the first time I tried to launch hard with around 550 whp.
Now I have the Carbonetics tripple disk, it has taken everything I have thrown at it, and it is quite a bit smoother than the FX600.

10K miles finally gave in ....200+ft-lbs tq more than it was rated lol....(probably at 725RWTQ for roughly 4K miles.....thats 900+b TQ......and lots of dyno pulls, and we know how much clutches love dynos lol)
I'll recomend this to anyone in these ranges (btw, I did for stylin z, and vr3....they went 6 puck though...like I should have)..
talked with bwicked today.....you'll be getting a call in feb when I finally do the clutch...and yes for the modified version, same he got!!!
AGAIN everyone, you really can't touch this clutch, holds as much as all but 1 twin disk at 1/6th the cost!!!!!!!!

YES!
I dragged the car (not well though, never had the right combo of tire and traction lol), aggressive driving (my car is basically a toy).
Never got to a drag day, but most driving for me is track-style (I used to manage a porsche race-team, and its hard to break that lol)
