Crank Sensor with Haltech/ No Start
Ok I know its been a while since I have been on here. Over that last months/almost year I think, I have had a lot of personal things to take are of before I could really start working on the G again. I have finally worked everything out and starting back up on the G
Please excuse me if I don't make 100% sense its been a LONGGGG time lol.
Issue: No start in certain conditions, Crank Sensor Issue
Just trying on Stock ECU w/o crank sensor plugged in the car will start but not hold an idle, but does fire up.
With crank sensor plugged in when the Haltech is installed there is a constant RPM signal on the Haltech but I can't get a spark out if it or fuel injection. The car seems dead after that crank sensor is installed. I have not used a scope yet to check the wires to make sure everything is ok. I just am confused since the haltech reads a good signal.
Now i was wondering if the signal plate was off or something but since there is a constant RPM signal I am kinda leaning off that. I am also using stock injectors just to try and get this thing going again. I have the haltech setup for stock injectors. I am using the internal vacuum source on the Haltech which for cranking seems to be reading correctly.
I just ordered a brand new Haltech Harness which is currently installed my old one crapped out on me (my fault). I also updated all the firmware and software for the Haltech.
I know I should have this thing running now but A LOT of horrible things have come up and I am just happy I have the chance to work on it again at all.
More info can be provided by request. Again I am sorry if I leave some things out my head is still very foggy. This is the basic info though.
Thanks
Chris

I seen you have put your stock injectors back in. What happens when you plug the crank sensor in while just using the factory ecu no haltech? If still the same problem then that would rule out the haltech. Just trying to help you trouble shoot. Also I have read that the crank position senors are know to go bad after 70k if that helps out any.
