Yes the numbers it produces out of the box aren't great, but that is because HKS provides the unit with an EXTREMELY conservative tune. Having it retuned provides much better numbers than out of the box.
All you need to do is install a REAL intercooler ( not that TOY they offer ) and spool the CRAP out of that SC....lol...
HKS only rates the SC to 400hp though.

I would love to get my hands on a headunit/bracket/pulley kit with no intercooler or anything else...maybe the piping. I would add my own intercooling system and a small as hell pulley to it...lol. It tops out at over 100,000rpm according to hks.
Does anyone know exactly what it uses for fueling?

This kit seems to put out around 320whp or so with no other mods, and has made around 350whp with HKS 264 cams and exhaust installed. Get the modified housing and smaller pulley from GTM and 390-400whp can be had. That's obviously not a whole lot of power compared to what you can do with a Vortech, and cams add considerably to the price, but it would also carry a CARB number. That alone should make this a worthwhile purchase for a lot of people. The problem I have is that it has to be installed by an HKS authorized installer. Around me, there is only one and they specialize in Hondas.
I was hoping HKS would put out a tuner kit with the F-Con Pro and their larger GTS 8550 compressor for those of us who would like more air flow than this kit offers and don't need CARB numbers or have access to an authorized HKS installer. Maybe Kraftwerks will one day complete their Rotrex kit as a good alternative.

I want it for $3800... I could sware the dyno charts i've seen show lower TRQ vs HP(shop builds section) Since Tq is what kills these motors one would think this has to be safer on internals than a TN kit of JWT 530bb kit especially if you actually drive the car.. Thoughts anyone?

"The GT Supercharger System Kits will only be available for purchase through select HKS Certified Pro Dealers and HKS Certified Installers. Only these HKS dealers will be authorized to install the GT supercharger kits."
Maybe you can purchase and install it yourself, but will not have it "authorized" for warranty purposes.

3800 is a killer deal!!.. sent that thing to GTM for an upgrade.. and 390-400whp on that thing would be a lot of fun!! The sound it makes is also a big plus! when it spools sounds awesome!
Can anyone supply a dyno from one of these....thanks.
Also, I think some of you should PM Intense........The powerlab kit is pretty damn cheap.

You can actually order it though the link I posted above. I assume the blurb is about warranty work, not availability. I got the link off of the HKS official website. You can probably find one closer to you.
edit: Jamaica looks like the closest.
