Like I said before, your goals are YOUR goals and who am I to bash them? I wasnt, only your comments and attitude which seems like more power = more fun, which is certainly not true.

Your comments saying 600whp is weaksauce, boring and not fun, start to get annoying when you post them every chance you get - which started back when you started your build. Many members cannot control 600whp let alone 4 digit power.

I simply smile when I think of what you did @ 600whp and now you downplay it like its nothing. You would be scared to wreck on a track but would be ok spinning thru 100mph on the street with other hazards? That makes no sense, but its your car.

As I expected you over reacted to my comments, and took them the wrong way....

And for the record 600whp is not gods gift to anything, neither is 1000whp or 2000whp depending on who you ask. Every member has a different perception of what is fast so who are you or I to say anybody is wrong?

Far below 75.

You'd think great intelligence would bring about some great insults.

I didnt take them the wrong way, promise. I had 600 and I was honestly bored, no "trying to be a badass" I was just simply bored with the car and the setup, I even almost sold it instead of doing a new kit. I simply got use to the power and it lost the oh **** factor with me.

Don't want to spin at 100mph, and hopefully some big sticky tires will help. Scared to wreck at the tarck because insurance doesnt cover it.

True, I am sure there are people that call 2000hp weak. Ever seen an outlaw race? Those people got ***** for sure to pilot 2500rwhp cars down the track. Everyone does have their own perception, so I am entitled to post mine just as they are theirs.

On another note, why would you want ~900hp for a "track car?"

Unfortunately for me, seeing as how I have constant issues with my car, I cant get used to it at all, so in a weird way every time I drive it, its like the 1st time! FML

In all seriousness I didnt mean to come off wrong, regardless of what you ran in your car, your an OG in this part of the forum, and I'll end it there....

Thank you good sir. Althought both cars are very impressive, Hal's especially from the video I saw of him on the street.

Its my350z, everything gets offtopic.

Ya i was mainly speaking of the green IP car. Thats def not a street car.

Hal's personal car is a good example of a high powered street car. But he didnt say if he was on drag slicks for that vid when I asked. I can bet they were not street tires!

I built my car to drive hard and I definitely enjoy it. I'm not sure which video you are speaking about... At the track I ran a DOT cheater slick, and for daily/street I run 18" drag radial street tire.

The IP drag car (green one) is definitely trailered to and from the track. Could it be driven on the highway, to lunch, around town, of course. But when we were competing month after month at NDRA, Import Face Off, etc. running in the 8s, we didn't want to take the chance of unneeded wear on a $20k+ motor

MH at track, and MT on street. Tread life will depend how you use them. Also, remember you basically get what you pay for. You want them to "last a long time", then you trade that soft compound and traction. Between race gas and tires, I understand the costs associated with taking my car out to play 'on kill'.

ok, more specifically, what kind of tread life are you gettin on the street with your MT's? do you get 5000 miles out of a set?

Since all 3 brands (I dont think there are any other 18"s DRs) I mentioned make 18's that all about cost the same, could you clarify, 'you get what you pay for?'
