thats correct. 97 maxima, so space down there is a bit limited, I might have to go with oval piping then. if i end up needing to go with larger diameter.

Thanx for the input neal, ill delete the dual charge pipe idea from my head then.

yeah I will, I got the J&S letting me know if things are getting too hot and meth/water injection to help keep them temps down. If the 2" piping does not actually restrict the new turbo, I think it should actually have cooler charged air than the smaller turbo at same boost. We'll see, my spring pressure is 13psi so it should be interesting.

I took a ride in nick's (cmytailsblink) car and the lag wasn't what everyone makes you think it would be and the thing pulled CRAZY HARD. That being said he had slightly more displacement with the 3.8L

Nice, I actually spoke with him via PM and he told me he had 2" standard STS piping even at 600hp.

So I am sticking with 2" for now. Is the 3.8L a new setup or was that his initial setup?
