You can get a used GT-500 with low miles for high 30s low 40s. I would just do that. It'll be a classic one day.

The supras are great cars, infact I personally feel that the supras are Toyota's most convincing sports car to date. The MK III and IV stock motor has been known to withstand 14 to 17psi.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the individual buying the car, the shape, looks, etc.

IMPO, which ever choice your friend makes, he has to pay to play.

In my case, I bought the zee because of nostalgic reasons and I like the looks.

When Rocky's zee is done and pushing 800 whp and torque, it'll all come down to the driver.

Welcome gerald, glad to hear ur opinion and valued a lot, I too thought of a supra yrs ago but I couldn't justify paying 35 plus for a supra then have to dump another 25k into it to make it go real fast lol, well I hope my buddy buys this car as he is going to virginia to look at it and bring it back on the trailer if he likes it! I will show him which car is faster in the end lol

Depends what you want, like stated.

Interior of the supra is...well....almost 20 years old now.....
But the Targa's are nice.

I prefer the power delivery I have with my G vs the supra's. But thats personal preference.

Depends on what you want. Like everyone said, the supra is thug nasty on the highway. However, I think dynamically, the Z is a better car.

Whatever your friend does he'd better scout around for a reliable tuner and builder. He should definitely meet up with Vinny, as in his supra days he was well known as the World's Quickest Outlaw Vinny Ten, the Original Performance Gangster in the world of racing.

You may also be interested to note that the supras were also known as the Hayabusa killer.

And the 350Z, a M6 killer

You can do it, beat the Supra you are a natural, as I recall that you were in the 11s (or was it 10s) on your very first time out with a stock motor & JWTs.

Supras are great cars the only problem is they cost a arm and a leg.Your friend could find a Z allot cheaper but if he is looking for a beast and doesnt mind th $ then Supra.I do think the Z is a better looking car but a Supra is rair and can hold its own in the looks department.

All in all these are very good points everyone has brought up, and like some said I will let the choice be his.. I mean u can always bring the horse to water, but u can't make him drink it! So if he goes either way I'm sure he will not be disappointed ..

Insert random pic of two Jay-Z heads in a 350Z pic here... I'm too lazy to search for one.

This is my opinion only!!!

When I am looking for an FI car.... It has to be a 3 domination. Meaning....it has to be fast on the freeway, road race course , autocross or other events. That being said... The G/Z is 3 domination.... The Supra when not in stock form is 1 domination.

Try driving a single turbo Supra with over 700whp on a road course and you will see what I mean.

Before asking this question... You should first tell us what kind of car/powa your friend is looking for or what the car will be used for. If he is like most on here that likes to drag race only... Then that would make the answer easier.

its the classified from supraforums.

Similiar hp for about the same price we sell our cars, but 10 years older. Shows ya how much our cars got crushed in re-sale and the increase in repetitive questions on this forum.
