Default those who need a quality boost control solenoid

Haltech/pro efi uses the same boost solenoid unit but marks it up to 100 bucks

I found on the RX-7 forums where the companies get their solenoids for less than $30 bucks!

Yup, this is what I have. Works great, and MAC solenoids are very good quality. You can also get them at your local pneumatic supply stores.

It is to cycle the pressure that the wastegate sees. It alternates between a connection to atmosphere to a connection to the compressor outlet (boost) utilizing a valve that can oscillate up to 30 Hz and is generally driven by a pulse width modulated output of an EMS. I don't know why this particular solenoid is better than any other (except for being less expensive than most).

I got mine included in my package so I don't feel like I overpaid.

The Mac solenoid is also the same one that is offered for the ProEfi.

wait, which one are we supposed to order?

somehwere says 5.4 watt and somewhere else says 12 watt.

that rx7 board has neither. They have one with huge ports that is 8.5w and a small 5.4w.

Haltech is 12 watts so what gives?

Is that all to it? What I mean is just order that and it's complete and ready to use or I need to modify it? Thanks.
