The general consensus in the tuning world, is that FMUs are a cheap fix
Z1, havent forgot about the little experiment I said I would do. Was in the blown t/a on friday. Fuel pressure at idle with vacuum was 42psi. With no vacuum it was 52psi. However, the T-connector for the boost gauge broke prior to my arrival so I was unable to test the FP under full throttle. Owner is fixing . Will do a full throttle run and report fp readings
Cool cool...will be interesting to see.
That means though you are running higher than stock base fuel pressure - not a bad thing to do if you have slightly undersized injectors.
What ecu does the car run?

Sorry to interrupt, but I just have to say I'm enjoying this thread immensely.
Very educational -- I appreciate Z1 being so articulate and patient in his explanations. Keep it up!
