Default which TT?

Hi gaiz,

I want the opinions and suggestions from FIed guys (if you are NOT FIed and have way less knowledge than me STFU & GTFU)

I have a 2006 350z rev-up motor 6MT and live in SoCal. My Z has all motor bolt-ons + techno square reflash. I gave up on bolt-ons and I want a bit more power now.

I am considering 2 TT kits but I want to get the opinions of the "experienced" ones in hopes of making the correct decision. My first goal is to get over the 400 whp mark - ideally I'd like to be somewhere in the 450 range but since the rods are the weakest links in our motors I know I will be pushing my luck with it. Having said this I want a kit that can help me reach my first goal.

My second goal would be building the motor for more power in the event that my first goal blows it up so I want a kit that will allow me to grow. I am considering the Greddy 18G/20G and the PowerLab GT35R single turbo kit.

I am sorry this is lots of information to read but I want to do this right from the get-go. By the way what is a "semi-built" motor? Thank you again in advance!

What happened with the single turbo idea? I saw you posting on the powerlab threads. I've enjoyed mine.

No - nevermind guys. I had an epiphany on my way home today. I'm gonna go with the GTM TT kit and build motor for a 500+ whp set up.

Really? Tuner kits come with 20g's, Bigger Down pipes, and a 32 Row intercooler. That sounds like the right mix to get to 500whp... granted a FRS, Fuel pump and Ginormous injectors are needed along with a built block.

The kits Tom listed are 1000whp capable he was being a smart a$$ due to the fact that same question gets ask about 5-10 times a week.

There is plenty of information out there on this topic without you having to start your own thread. The "I want 400-450 whp which turbo to get?" topic has been beat to death. Congrats on going FI and I hope you find the right kit
