Default stage 1 short block from IPP!

jus bought the stage 1 vq35de short block from Import Parts Pro.. he says it should take around 2 to 3 weeks to build.. deff excited.. it took me spinning a main bearing to finally go thru with a built bottom end.. now i can look forward to some bigger numbers..but prepaired for more things to go wrong with more hp

i made 530whp on a mustang dyno and 561whp DJ on stock TN kit with meth + 17psi. Plenty of room in the TN kit. with utec, im sure better tuning would supply the very last drops of hp out of that turbo.

cause, you could sell the TN and buy a TT kit and save your self the $$$ in labor to yank the TN out and the install on the TT kit later.

Athensgls made this point a very long time ago, but there is still people who overlook his build because he basically did a stfu to the turbonetics haters. 16-18 psi should yield you decent 500+whp, wich would be plenty fun for a street car. Don't get sucked in into this tn on built blocks sucks nonsence. Granted it won't give you 600whp but how many powerlabs are running this much hp? Maybe 2. Enjoy what u have and don't worry about the negativity u get from the followers.

IPP is Import Parts Pro.

I purchased my first short block from IPP and was very happy with it. I also have purchased countless other parts from IPP. Kyle is a great guy to deal with. He is very responsive, very honest, and has a wealth of knowledge about our cars. He could have sold me a much more expensive short block, but guided me to the block that was right for me based on my goals at that time.

im about 30min from your location; kyle at ipp was grat block took about a month to get, he is always available for questions whether it be technical or sales related. I thought it was too good to be true at the time with the price wise, but its all about EOQ, or economic's of Order Quantity, basically if you store blocks that are all done, you will have a lower lead time but your price is high, since he is basically a machine shop, the blocks are made to order. Thus virtually no holding costs.

yeah hes a good guy.. and as far as the low price on the block he was willin to give me mil discount on everything he has except the block packages because he is bairly profiting on them according to him.. and those prices wont be that way for long so anyone debating better jump on it soon..
