Nice picts BBBT...
PE did change the intake piping from the prototype kit slightly, you could have gotten a little more straighter air flow from the straight pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body, but it looks like PE went with a bent pipe to accomodate the stock air flow meter and reduced the diameter of the pipe a little bit...
i'm still waiting some type of confirmation of my kit.. but have fun with yours... keep the boost low.. stock ECU has too much timing on the top end...
also due to the design of the after pipes from the turbo, (before the intercooler) you should be able to hear two distinct Shhhhhhh sounds like you are hearing in the video.. this is characteristic of the driver side pipe being slightly longer and the lag in the air being released by the waste gates.. there is nothing to be alarmed about...
BOV is nice in this situation but not necessary...
oh yea. 1 more thing.. those bends into the MAF might actually slow down the air velocity into your car, giving it a little bit of lag, although probably not that much, but would have some consequences in spool time..

Is PE doing CARB cert? I think the last time I heard about the PE kit they weren't concerned about getting the certification (which makes it pretty much illegal to run the kit in CA, well legal till you have to get smogged or the po po slaps ya with a fix-it ticket.).
