Default Need Help

Hi guys, i ll SC my Z, i got an used vortehc v2, w/o the fuel pump, so i swaped the OEM for a walbro 255, my question is, i just need to cut the fuel lines from the OEM fmu and plug them to the vortech FMU and fuel rail.

why are you using the fmu if u are not using an inline pump..they work together..i think you should do more research..i have never seen the fmu used with no inline pump and dont think it is possible but maybe

the fmu rises fuel pressure from the inline pump supplied with the kit...If you do not use the inline pump i dont think you will be able to use the fmu or the vortech ss box and will need to put larger injectors in the car and use a different ems to tune..easier to just get a inline pump on here for the vortech kit and do it correctly

I have an inline fuel pump from a Vortech kit. I have no use for it. PM me if you are interested.

If you have an in tank pump, the FMU is useless.
