Safe rev limit for Turbo stock DE valvetrain and built bottom
As thom000001 said there's no power to be made above 6200, but with the higher redline you should be faster at the track.
I lost ~8 mph on my traps (shitty driver induced ET's unchanged though LOL) when i dropped my rev limit from 7400 back to stock.

djamps, yea I am def going to stick to that rpm range as far as shiftpoint 6200-6500. I can feel the car pull hard all the way to 6500, constant acceleration, i'll play around with the shiftpoints at the track. Being automatic 4sp with long as fk gears, reving a few hundred rpms more is a huge benefit.
Thanx, Yeah i run sht overthere lol j/k but yea Im a regular on the org.
The max is a cool car, only lack being rwd ofcourse, now im working on fixing a few things, got alot of pressure loss between turbo and int manifold. Just orderd one of them ebay IC piping kits to get rid of the crappy pipes you see in the pictures. I am almost certain I am loosing alot of pressure back there where I have a bunch of bends, plus a couple of crushbent pipes going up into the intake manifold.

I havent been on there for a little while now, since i sold all my suspension stuff a few months back. It looks like youre rolling on stock suspension, how do you do for traction with the extra power?
Nah it has Progress springs with gr2, sits low but not slammed, has the perfect stance (for my taste at least), traction is tough, anything above 350whp is not easy to put to the ground on the street, good thing is I dont do much street racing so at the track I bring out my slicks.

For anyone interested; today I upgraded my charge piping.
Couple pictures of the new aluminum piping, I love it!!! Shoulda done it from the start 3 years ago. (Was only 80something bucks, considering all the bends, couplers and Tbolts you get), I also removed at least 15lb's off the car, steel piping is heavy!!! The main reason for upgrading was well, to go with mandrel bends and not have a hose as a bend (probably alot of friction, specially on a turn), also I wanted to see if the old piping was the reason for my 6psi pressure loss.
Spools up so much faster, boost comes in quicker and car pulls stronger at same boost. This thing is spooling as quick as my HX35 (I have an hx40 now). The bad news is that I still have the damn 6psi pressure loss!!!, 13psi(measured at turbo housing) spring giving me 7psi (measured at intake manifold), it is very solid and does not fluctuate. I am coming to the conclusion that it HAS to be my damn ebay intercooler.
