Default Forged Performance: First Greddy TT Tuned with Uprev

This was posted on another forum by Sharif. I thought I would share the results.

Many of you have been asking for some dyno results from the new Greddy TT 20G tuner kit for the 370Z. Great results on just wastegate pressure 8psi on the Dyno Dynamics Dyno. Jay and Kerry just finished up the install, so they finally had a chance to swing it by for some preliminary dyno tuning. I tuned the car using UpRev reflash process and delivered a nice safe track track tune on WG pressure. If Jay and Kerry report back that the cooling system holds up, we might raise the boost a bit. We are estimating this is about 150whp more than the previous normally aspirated setup.

Looking forward to seeing what Jay can do with it on the track!

Looks like the 370 engine bay is a lot easier to work with space wise anyway

ughh that irritates the crap out of me that the 370Z can retain the factory strut tower brace and I can't with 350Z, and it looks like the intercooler is either smaller or there's alot more space up front allowing room for the radiator and oil cooler to get some air.

Why is the top of the intercooler all beat up and dented?

Good eye. We didn't handle this install, but the customer told me the IC had some very minor damage from shipping. Greddy offered to replace the IC, but it wasn't necessary.

Isn't this the same Z?

So after all this talk about the Forged 370Z race car... it's actually not your car and you didn't do the install???

Eric, give it a rest. We did all of the work that we posted on in the thread. I already posted that the turbo kit install was done by the customer and Kerry, and then we did the tuning. We are still working together on the car. Not all project cars are owned by Forged, just like the Intense project cars, or GTM projects cars are not all owned by those companies. We sponsored the car....but don't own it.

Mine looked the same way. Seems to be a common trend with Greddy Intercoolers. They package their stuff with a few peanuts and a piece of cardboard. UPS isn't exactly careful with shipments either. I did send it back for a new one though

OK. Thanks for the clarification. But why create a separate thread that makes no mention or connection to the race project and not provide an update in the original race project thread? That's ODD. Just sayin...

Also... other shops (Intense included) do their own FI installs on their project cars. Otherwise it's not referred to as a project car!

Fair enough. The original build plan that we performed, did not involve FI. We wanted to build the fastest NA 370Z Racecar possible. The forced induction plan came together just recently, and Jay and Kerry handled that, along with a couple rounds of additional cooling mods and chassis modifications.

I followed this car a while back nice to see the guy went FI with a proven system like Greddy. That looks like a fun car to drive.
