That signifies which side of car I sit on

You now understand why you will never have cold feet when in my car!

for these kits you have to put both O2s in the downpipe. that just leaves 1 extra hole on each side for widebands

But the 2nd o2 is useless...why not just eliminate it? I did.

thom, super sick.

i'm sad you talked me out of the twin 5557's cause that looks mean but i'll have less headache on the single and have more power than i will know what to do with.

might i ask what super secret junk is in that exhaust? I thought about increasing to dual 3" exhaust for my borla but i really like the sound of my borla. I don't want to lose that by gutting the pipe or anything.

You can see on the top of the muffler where it was cut open....that baffle is gone, beyond that not much else is done (except modifying side to accept that big inlet).

I'll try to get some reasonable audio but its tough....at idle it has a little more metalic sound than stock (but only a VQ person would notice) and its a tiny touch louder at idle....normal driving you still get Chewy, but at about 3500rpm it does start to rasp. Only time I am at that rpm though is at full boar and then all you hear is the open DP on the WG!!!!

hmm, so it's basically just a shell. ic ic

i like my deep sound of the borla. I'll prob leave it alone until it becomes an issue with power. hell, cross sectional area dual 2.25" is still larger than a single 3".

Next step for mine will be the boost actuated cut-out......

Just want to get it back together first and see what we're dealing with...re-coating stuff is simple and quick so not worried about that.

Can't imagine how much power I'm giving up going through that muffler....

1 other funny thing, if you walk behind the car at idle, you'll notice that more sound (and flow if you feel with your hand) comes from the drives side pipe than the pass side lol.....but when it barks flames, they come out of both (about 10 feet long from what I'm told!!!)
