I told u it was your blower taking a DUMP... did i call it or what.

Also, i c u are in Puerto Rico so maybe the gas isn't that great there and the altitude may be factors.

Hahahaha....you did indeed....but oil in the compressor doesn't necessarily make it less efficient. The impeller will still move the same amount of air. Heck, the oil may even raise it's efficiency do it the possibilities of it "sealing" the impeller against the diffuser inside. It's theoretical though.

Anyways, the gasoline here is 93oct and I always use shell which has worked great for me in other. Altitude is pretty low as well throughout most of the outer island ( which is where I live ). The only thing that is constant is heat and rain...there is a LOT of both of those.

Anyone see a problem with me leaving it like this until it gets REALLY bad and then just doing a full rebuild with impeller swap?

Small problems always seem to cause bigger problems. I wouldn't chance it. A 2hr rebuild and you are back to normal.

if the seal is broken, i'm sure the internals arent operating at 100%. There's no pt just swapping out the seals and not upgrading the internals for a few dollars more.

From 928M, the seals are $62 and the entire kit ( which is the bearings plus the seals ) is $262. The raised the price on the impeller too, $576...YIKES!

I cleaned the oil up and I'm going to check in a few days to see how quickly it builds up. If it gets that bad again in 1 or 2 days then I'm going to have to do the seal kit first. If not then I'll wait to do the full rebuild.
