Hey everyone, I have a question about this used turbo xs utec I bought used. I bought it used from a guy who said that everything was in working order only to get it in the mail and find that the MAP sensor wires were frayed and broken . Now i'm starting to question his integrity so here's my question...is there any way, other than slapping it on the car and hooking it up to the ecu, that I can tell if this thing works as it should? could I just hook it up straight to my laptop without a power source? any help is appreciated

 

 

Yes you can use a 9V battery or power supply.

yea, i dropped my camera and for some reason can't focus right no more so the pics suck....it's def. broken

 

did it turn out to be good? if not i have a utec map sensor laying around
