Once again, demonstrating your lack of knowledge on the subject. Unless you'd care to share the dates you were active-duty air force and can therefore back up your claims with factual, personal experience of this "normal job".

I could list off 30 different jobs in the Army that are more "normal" than the majority of AFSC's. Just because you had one experience with a small sample of AF personnel on some random FOB in Iraq doesn't demonstrate any sort of rule in play. By your rationale, I could say that everyone in the Army is a felon, drug addict, or other sort of criminal since they let a few in a few years back. But I don't, because I know better, and actually have respect for my fellow servicemembers. Something you might do well to learn, little boy.

As for your line about the air force only driving 'vees and not riding shotgun, again another statement made out of ignorance of what many of us do. I had another job to do, and had I been driving, I'd have not been able to do it. Feel free to keep digging though. Shovel-makers gotta feed their kids too.
las anaconda is not a radom fob in iraq. its the most mortered fob in iraq when i was there in 06. and you must not read through the whole text i said af special forces is the only job that does work. I live next to an air force base and have numerous friends there. so your the idiot who doesnt read though the content. NO MATTER what you say if we guage the two services on work the army works harder than the AF and thats the honest truth. I believe the army goes to iraq for minimum of a year while the AF is 6 months. and they get a "sub-standard living pay" when they sleep anywhere but a hotel. Just to satisfy you once again AFSC does work. You can say whatever you want about the army, navy, marines it really doesnt matter bc there are going to be bad people in all brances. sorry i hurt your feelings but you probably have the only job in the air force that requires you to actually work. great job. Thats how Air Force became know as "Chair Force." Have a good day man.

You really need to do some research before you go bashing any service. First off I am in the Air Force, in Iraq on an Army controlled camp. I work side by side with soldiers, sailors and marines. Guess what? We all are doing the same job, we work the same amount of hours, eat at the same chow hall, sleep in the same CHUs and are recieving the same financial entitlements. No sub-standard living pay. You're right in one area though, I am only doing a 6 month tour.
"Just to satisfy you once again AFSC does work.".....
Go ahead and do me a favor, look that acronym up or just click here AFSC
You really should take the time to learn about and respect your sister services, I guarantee you wouldnt have survived your tour in Iraq without them. And to the remark that started this military "debate", not every service member plays the military ID when they get pulled over for doing something illegal. Be a man and accept the consequences if you do something wrong.
