A properly engineered and fitted turbo will, if anything, enhance engine life. The engine will experience an increase in heat, but with boost pressure not exceeding 0,6 bar, without an intercooler, the engine will cope with the heat increase. The conrods and crank will benefit substantially as the turbo produces more power throughout the power stroke. This gives a constant load on the components and assists in cushioning the inertia loading, - with a consequential increase in life expectancy of engine components."
Complete ********, just like thier supercharger kit. I wouldn't install anything from these people on my Z, even if it were free. Geez.

A properly engineered and fitted turbo will not materially reduce engine life if:
1) The higher operating temperature and the effect on oil degradation is countered by maintaining manufacturers oil change intervals and using a good synthetic like Mobil 1.
2) The engine is not subjected to excessive boost, boost should typically not exceed 0,6 bar, without an intercooler.
3) High octane gas is always used.
4) If the water-cooling is marginal under high ambient temperatures an auxiliary cooling fan should be fitted.
5) Care is taken to remap the spark and fuel calibration.
Modern engines have a measure of safety in the design which allows for reasonable increases in output with very low risk.
Under turbo charging at higher rpm, the loading on the connecting rod and bearings is reduced by the increased combustion pressure counter-acting the inertia loads.
We will update our website with this information ASAP.

I for one can't stand it anymore. Cut the friggin' B.S. and tell everyone the truth about your Dream.
The vehicle you sent to carb.- where is it? why on earth would it take this long to pass carb.? and if you have a unit to pass carb with, where are the images. That would help you save a LOT of face with the general populace.
What the real deal with the Dell ...supposed... warranty? There isn't one. I, for one, have checked this already. If you plan on boosting at 7psi, you won't ever have a warranty. But you know this already - if you've researched this.
This reminds me of the movie Boiler Room.

Just because dell doesn't warranty one vehicle past 6 psi, doesn't mean they don't warrant every car past 6 psi. And, as for checking with them, if a product isn't out, they aren't gonna say they have a warranty for it.
It is coming!!!!!!!! and SICK as HELL!

Dream Workes Unveils New Advanced Supercharger System
Monday, February 23, 2004 by Rob Granger
Dream Workes' goals were not to be the first product to market, but to be the finest quality product to market. Choosing not to bolt a supercharger adaptor to the lower intake manifold, Dream Workes designed a full-length runner system with dual intercoolers, an off throttle bypass valve, high-flow fuel rails, and rear quill drive so as the system would fit under the stock hood, needing no modifications.
All this requires specialized machining closer to OEM than typical aftermarket specifications. Dream Workes' supercharger system replaces the existing manifold at the head manifold face so all the features in the standard manifold, like injector mounting positions and fuel rail mountings, are accurately machined into the new parts.
Features include angled flange faces that seal to the cylinder heads, bores in which the injectors seal against boost pressure, intercooler flange faces and mountings, as well as the integrated supercharger rotor housing.
Dream Workes' full-length runner system allows the company's roots-type supercharger to work more efficiently than a standard roots-type system. Standard aftermarket systems seem to require more boost, creating more heat to operate at the same level or horsepower potential of the Dream Workes system. The end result is a completely new induction system from the cylinder heads back.
Dream Workes forced induction systems carry a three-year, 36,000 mile power train warranty and the Stage 1 system is CARB legal. Delivery begins spring 2004.

"In all 3.5L applications Dream Workes SST Systems utilize an Eaton 90 Roots Type Supercharger with a power output of approximately 400 hp at the crankshaft."
and here they are going to build (25) Z's! Notice they say "The 350 Z will have upwards of 550hp..."
"Now for the enthusiast seeking the highest performance street legal automobiles available, Dream Workes Racing is building 25 350Z super cars and 20 Sentra SER Spec V super cars for 2003 with performance figures that will be proven in up-coming issues of national performance magazines when such magazines will do the testing/photo shoot. We can only say that the 350 Z will have upwards of 550hp and the Sentra SER Spec V approximately 400 with handling and braking to harness such power. The super car runs will carry special name plates as well as a owner registered VIN number."
I look forward to seeing/reading some first hand experiences. For now, it's a sit and wait game.

Where have you been? Do some more searches and find out the rest of the BS story behind this thing. Dont miss the one with the Dreamworks rep talking about the hundreds of them running around the Ukraine, but a 200+ Z meet on the east coast was not important enough for them to bring a supercharged car.
This thing will never make it to market...

I actually talked to someone at dream workes today,
LOL, when i called and asked about the 350z S/C the guy seemed very confused and there was about a 10 sec. silence, then he said, oh yeah, um... let me take your number and i will have someone call you back...
not 1 min. later I got a call, (sounded like the same guy) and said they they pulled the last production because of a minor "flaw" that would not be reliable long term, when I asked what it was he paused again and said well, i can't tell you.. but I can tell you that we will have a press release coming out next month or so, and the kit will be released around that time...
always 45-60 days with these guys... funny how that works, I bet if I called back in a month, i would hear the same thing..
Although I really wish they were coming out as I would love to have this kit, I don't feel like waiting until the GTR comes out.
