Hi all,
Now, I'm just a lowly Spec V driver. For what it's worth, I would like to chime in here about DW and their kits.

I want all of you to know that I have already purchased a Spec V SST turbo kit. Paid for in full. Just waiting for shipping near the end of January.

MY wife and I take this type of purchase seriously. I did my homework-- a lot of it. I spoke with Nick several times as well as the president of Dream Workes. Not only did they give a me a high degree of confidence, they ended up taking a lot of abuse over on some of the Spec V forums and remained highly professional and highly knowledgeable.

They earned MY hard earned dollars.

If there are any doubts, just look at Jason from Performance Nissan, also a fellow named Greg at Mossy Performance. These guys are in the know and will be stocking the kits.

I don't work for Dream Workes, just thoguht I would offer my perspective.

Cheers to all.

Funny how a guy was lurking long enough to know what was happening here and then make his very first post in support of this company.

Carries a lot of weight in my book.

Wink

I read the thread out of curiousity because all the Boards seem to have a different opinion of DW.

Sorry, I thought you wouldn't mind a 'third-party' observation.

I only joined this Board a couple of days ago. Nice welcome friendly guy.

Oh, and simply stating that 'carries a lot of weight in my book' presupposes that everyone on this, and other Boards, respects and pays homage to 'your book'. J/K. Do they?

Sorry to waste your time alienx. I was just trying to help.

I can't believe someone would be crazy enough to slap down 6200 for a sc that has no pics, numbers, garrentees, or backing by anyone in writing. You guys be very careful that is all I am saying. This company is not greddy or stillen who has been around forever. They could pack up and you would be out that money. Do any of you that put down money have pics, or hp numbers, or a carb number, or a garrentee backing by nissan USA. I doubt it. Word to the wise, get your money back or have them put something in writing for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I call BS show me pics. This is not rocket science, Cessna could have build a new jet by now.

DW said they would release in Late January, they are still hoping to do so. Greddy released at least a year late. Give these guys the same benefit IMO.

I would be more worried about them releasing too early and having problems then releasing it a month or two later with few or no problems.

I am considereing the stillen supercharger but cant get past the hood. any ideas. has anyone installed one yet. i like the fact you can obtain a powertrain warranty and buy 7lb bost kit ( as long as you have torque wrench) and remove it pretty quickly.

When I spoke to Nick at DW, he said they will have a phase 1 which is the warrantied 400-405 hp at crank set up. Then there will be Phase 2 and 3 that follow without warranties. The phase 3 will exceed 500 hp if i remember correctly.

They have the phase 1 set up so if you change the boost, they know it and void your warranty.

I do not doubt that they are going to make a kit but, what I cannot understand is why they haven't released a picture of the kit.

Your right but greddy showed pics of there TT at sema 2002!!!!!!!!!!! Were's the pics? I just would like to see if this is for real. Also they should not make garrantes like Nissan backing there product when I know of one other company right now working on a TT for nismo USA, which is also trying to get nissan to back them. If a dealer backs the product that does not mean nissan will. just my .02

Is there any way to know what dealers will be participating vendors of such aftermarket SCs? A list anywhere?
