Just buy a wideband gauge and sensor.

i'm also purchasing the gtm basic fuel return system, i'ma just see if i can skip on buying the walbro in their package since i'ma be using the CJM
There is no return lines ,adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, fuel bypass kit and high volume fuel rails in the GTM basic kit.

Or just get the AAM Basic Fuel Return Kit for ~$500 and add Wabro 255Lph Fuel Pump and injectors.

@midz350: are you talking about AAM's billet fuel rail system or their stage 1 system? still gna stick with the twin pump just in case i want to mod further, but yea looking at their product page, it lists everything except the upgraded pump

@350z 6spd: so just buy a wideband and sensor and ignore the hks afk then? i'm still in the gold tho if i buy the hks EVC right? or is there another suitable boost control system that other find better? i'll go with the AEM Wideband Air Fuel Ratio Meter then, saves me some money there.....

If you just want to monitor the AFR then yes, all you need is a wideband kit. Keep in mind that this only monitors one bank where as you may have purchased two O2 sensors to display the AFR of both banks with the knock amp. If you want to monitor the AFR of both banks you will need to get something that supports two O2 sensors and displays both or just purchase 2 wideband kits and install 2 gauges.

I have the HKS EVC VI and it works beautifully and I would venture to say most others would agree.

wait, you can't put a twin pump on a basic return fuel. That's pointless. You need to upgrade your rails adn remove all the restrictive oem fuel pipes. And you have 2 6an outputs from the twinpump and no way to attach it to the oem pipe (which is way too small).

You need a full return system with big rails along with no smaller than 8an pressure line sicne you're running 2 6an pressure lines into that up to the rails.

This went from a "this is going to be my build" to "i'm cutting all my corners and just talking" thread real fast.

osiris doesn't log knock.

hks AFK will do dual widebands and knock. If you want to monitor both then thats the way to go. it WILL NOT log the knock or wideband though as an FYI. You will have ti get something for a datalogger if you want to log everything. Aftermarket ecu/piggyback or something like an Aux box from Innovate motorsports with a laptop connected.

yes they do, HR uses the same fuel system. They even have return systems for 370's. Stop hating on CJM. They provide the best fuel solutions for the lowest prices with excellent customer service.

C'mon man, I'm not hating on CJM, I just have never seen their kit for the HR (the DE's rails don't fit the HR's) before I bought the GTM kit (which I don't like BTW) I was looking for the CJM HR full RFS kit with rails, but couldn't find anything

oh, well it's there. They make fuel systems for 03-08 350z and also 370z.

@binder: I was under the impression the AAM system came with what i needed, like i said, this is my first build i'm goin thru so i'm not as knowledgable as everyone here. If it seems i'm cutting corners, i'm not, i'm just trying to get things right as it seems i'm buying some things that are not needed for this build. As for the full RFS, i haven't seen it from CJM, unless u kno of a source or vendor thats selling it, or do i have to buy everything piece by piece? like i said, i wasn't aware of that, i only saw the CJM twin pump kit. I'm only aware of one full RFS kit made by GTM i believe, but i haven't been able to call to ask since i'm in iraq making my timezone and phone calls limited.

The other vendor i looked at has a CJM stage 2 rfs and then a cjm twin pump. This is where i'm confused, CJM is apparently the fuel system to go with, but do i buy the twin pump also or just stick with the stage 2? Since the AAM system was thrown out there, i thought that was the mix to go with.

Yes, you need the stage2 plus the twin pumps. Its essentially an unmarketed 'stage 3'

If I was to do it again, I woulda just bought the twin pump, rails, and regulator and do all the lines myself. That way its 100% fit to your car, your mounting locations. I ended up having to redo almost all my lines anyhow...

Thank you, that helped clear up that issue, thanks for all the help everyone, i think i've throughly gone through and eliminated and added the parts needed to make this build be done right the first time. Its been an aching learning process (partly due to barely 3g internet speed and lack of comp time) but everyone's inputs have helped, now comes the painful ordering, waiting, shipping, and hoping the wife doesn't lose any of the parts before i come home, thanks again everyone!

oh yea, as a sidenote, if i wanted to upgrade to a 2 way LSD, does it matter which i go with? was thinking about the tomei technitrax LSD

This.

I was just going to add that the lines and everything matched up perfectly fine for my car. When rich (str8dum1) got his there wasn't a "stage 3" setup yet for the g35 and the lines woudln't match up. Charles remade them all to fit the g35 based on measurements from my car so he now has the correct lengths for g35's.

If you feel like making the lines on your own then you can. I personlly dont' like making the lines and love the nice smooth coatings on the CJM lines so it doesn't chew up the parts they lay on in my car. To each their own.

maybe CJM started to use swivel fittings as well. Mine were fixed which is also a hassle.

The more custom your car, the less off the shelf parts you can use...

so true.

They were still non-swivel but i didn't have any issues putting mine together minus sitting the backseat and soldering wires for a couple hours.
