How far will you venture form home, F/I Z's?
since i installed the supercharger last year, i've made a few trips between SF & LA (450 miles), as well as a longer trip from SF to Vegas and then down to San Diego, then back to SF (about 1,400 miles). i'll probably drive home to Dallas at some point later this year (no cog belt) which will be about 3,500 miles round trip.
i keep a set of handtools in the car all the time, as well as some extra belts and two small wood blocks to drive up on if I have to change a tire. for longer trips i bring along an OEM G35 coupe 19" wheel for a spare and a small bottle of distilled water.

It gets better every time I go out. Sadly, my best time right now is 13.2@113with a 2.3 60' on 295/30/19 PS2's. So not that good for the power the car makes. I am getting wheel hop as soon as I shift to 2nd, so I am not 100% on it for much of 2nd gear.
Things like this will get looked after this winter, and launching the car will improve with practice.

I set it 140km/h and up the speed on the steering to 160km/h and it stays put.
The strip is so much to home.
My concern was heat, my engine bay is like a oven after a few minutes driving.

Drove mine to ZdayZ, beat the **** out of it at the airstrip and drove home the next day. All without a spare tire
.... I love to gamble.
Its 10-15 miles just to get groceries from where I live. 110+ miles in a day is no big deal
At least my car was nice enough to die in the garage this last time, instead of on the way back from VA.

realistically, if you are just driving under vacuum, it doesnt matter much if you are FI.
Assuming that your cooling is up to par to deal with the added heat, it doesnt matter. I took my car when it was supercharged on 2x1000 mile trips no problems

Usually long trips means I'm not alone, so no G.
Getting to ZdayZ and back is 600 miles though and I've done that 3 times now. After tail of the dragon in the G, driving through the mountains in a minivan is just sad. Different state of mind though...

I trust mine more now that I built it than when it was factory. I've got 30K miles on my build including a few 800+ mile trips. Also, never a dyno tune only my street tune.
However, when my dad and I bring the z32 and my z33 to injected in september (14 hour drive), we're bringing a trailer in case we break something while tuning
So far Nissan has never let me down!!

at all times i have a belt, set of plugs, extra relay, quart of oil, fuses, basic set of tools, multimeter and basic electrical supplies. Also, an easy to get to 10mm wrench.
Kinda killing my power to weight
but it is my daily back and fourth to schoolross
I did a road-trip this past weekend, covering 1100miles....most at speeds 100mph+.
I had my reservation about doing this but in the end it was all worth it.
I found new respect and confidence in my F/I setup.
This made me wonder....How many guys here have the confidence doing so with their F/I Z's or how far will you confidently venture from home with out any backup?
