I can say this... I drove an 06 G with rev matching trans with the Trango VB upgrade. His car's shifts were smooth as silk when you babied the throttle but chirped gears when you really pushed it.

I love it and will definitely add this nod next especially before my twins go in

anyone see anything im missing or should get?

debating still on an oil cooler.

also debating on whether high flow cats are worth it. had test pipes before but i dont want too much rasp and still want to keep emissions just in case.

also debating on whether I should wait a little while more and get an SSV or possibly even cosworth plenum but not sure if its worth it. I already have a MD 5/16 spacer.

also trying to figure out which blowoff valve would work good at these boost levels. looking at hks or greddy with single spring mod right now.

keep your spacer, ive read mixed reviews over cosworth intake plenums. I think they go for ~1200, maybe more? Most guys rock them because it looks more appealing. I went w/ berk hfc because I didnt want any rasp either.

FYI, spacer doesn't do d!ck for _FI_ applications. I dynoed 1whp and 8wtq lower when I added one. My advice is remove it, I did and my numbers are back to normal.

ok so i got my replacement turbo coming in and my new accessport since i had the 350z model.

will the stock cats be sufficient for my goals of 400hp? or would it be necessary to upgrade to high flow cats or test pipes?

I know its been a while since i updated and ive had second thoughts on this, but good news! I have everything after all the complications, and I have an appointment to start the install on tuesday.

Ive also managed to get a deal on a used set of red sparco torinos, and am waiting on the rails I ordered.

I also bought a triple gauge pillar pod and So far I bought an innovate LC-1 with gauge, but im not sure what to put in the other slots. I have my E01 to measure boost already.
And I figure the EGT wouldnt be needed with the wideband. I also don't have extreme fuel mods or fuel needs so I dont think FP is necessary. any recommendations?

oil pressure, oil temp, coolant temp, I run a wide band for each cylinder bank? Intake air temp, I personally like a fuel pressure gauge at the end of the day only the things you want to keep track of will benifit you. If i had an EGT gauge but didn't understand what it is telling me what is the point?!?

A gauge I strongly recommend if your automatic, is a tranny temp gauge. Temperature is the main reason auto's fail, so keeping an eye on it and knowing when to take it easy(when it starts to climb) will save it.

I have some FI experience with other cars such as 88' turbo mx-6, 97 s/c maxima, and a procharger previously on my g35 but am by no means an expert on FI let alone the VQ so any help is appreciated.

I dont plan to track the car. Just daily drive it and want a little more power once in a while. I very rarely even go over the speed limit.

also I DO NOT plan to go past 6-7 psi or 400whp. My goal is 350 to a max of 400 whp.

I think I have almost collected all the parts necessary to start my tt kit install. though I will need to buy one replacement turbo since one of the turbos with my kit is incorrect(part of the deal since the kit was a great deal)

03' g35 IP coupe 5at 50k miles

Current suspension/body mods:
tein basics
richie v2 fstb
stillen sways
spc front/rear camber arms and toe bolts
rotora 6/4 14" bbk
cf full ionic lip kit and TS hood
AME FS-01 18x10 all around in dark bronze

My current engine mods which I will leave on:
MD 5/16 spacer
1 step colder plugs(from previous s/c)
VB mod
trans oil cooler
Greddy EVO TT exhaust

Here is the parts list so far:

350z JWT 700BB turbo kit -brand new but missing 1 correct turbo.
440cc injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump
Cobb accessport (thats what my tuner uses)
Greddy Profec E-01 boost controller/gauge
apexi turbo timer

Shopping list:
Oil temp/coolant temp/egt gauges
possibly hks ssqv
new gt2554r turbo

Also I am debating on cooling system mods. I tried doing some searches but couldnt find anything that answers the question to my needs.

I dont plan to race/track the car and rarely speed however the car may be in 80-90 degree weather during the summertime.

Would it be necessary to upgrade cooling components and how far do I need to go?

debating on bigger radiator, samco hoses, oil cooler kit possibly once funds permit. If itll be necessary for my needs.

As previously noted i already have a trans oil cooler installed.

Do I need all these or would one or the other be sufficient?

I know oil temps can go up a lot due to the turbos so thatd seem like the highest priority out of the 2. is the larger radiator necessary if not tracking/racing?

Also is there anything that I am missing thatd be essential?

Thanks in advance for info/help. This should be a fun small project(compared to others builds).

You should consider going with 660's for the injectors. That's what I am running with my JWT 700BB set-up.

I'd be hesitant to say that they don't do anything. Although I really don't have any proof, I could really imagine seeing more peak power (hp) when you go towards the higher rpm 7k+rpm. Not much, but still.

Why not go bigger? IMO it's so worth it to get injectors bigger than your FI system is max rated for. Face it, new the price difference is really quite small, and it gives you a lot of insurance once you start going for more power. Even if you aren't built, the injector duty cycle is a nice bonus. I'd go 800cc range, if you can afford it.
Either way, I think most people will agree 440cc's will be too little too quick for this kit.
And the 255, go with something bigger. Single, external, twin, triple whatever you do go with something bigger. I know there are shops running boosted voltage into the 255 to run 500whp, but that to me is just risky. A really well thought out fuel system will help your tuner/hold your tune. That always equals more hp, and more reliability. Look at any shop car holding records (it's usually got two things); a mad clever tune on it, and a big huge expensive fuel-system, even when it's running the same kit you can buy off the shelf.

i talked to the shop about it and they said with the accessport theyd have trouble getting a reliable tune if the injectors are too big.

600cc dw's will be the right size for your build and will tune great with access port. 440's will be maxed for there duty cycle.

440cc injectors and no fuel return on a 700BB kit? Debating tranny/oil coolers? I think we know how that went.
