Larry has my tune on his PC I believe. I don't have a problem sending him my EMS for adjustments. The Z is not my DD. Making these remote adjustments would only represent a bandaid until a proper re-tune can be done. And in my case, it is just a little bit of help to prevent unnecessary engine and or sensor damage so I can drive out to see him.

I understand that it is just a temp fix, I just thought it might be easier for you to send him a datalog, and let him tweak your map and email it back to you for you to upload, rather than pulling your EMS and shipping it out

Randy does not have the software or the cable to do so.

In about 3 weeks we will be releasing this new Can display that will have the ability to do VE tuning right on the display!!

The one that is covered up by the Oil filler neck. Unfortunately I was almost done loctiting them all and came upon this one. I was forced to lift up the Cosworth Plenum to access the last bolt. After Loctiting it, I re-assembled everything and torqued it down to spec. All good.

I was never able to get mine to reseal after they came loose I retorqued them but the caps still leaked a bit. I had to pull the end caps off clean them and I put black RTV sealent and then re torqued them with lock tight and havent had any issues since.

Upon initial assembly, I used a very thin layer of black RTV for the endcaps (as Sharif had recommended). I had to re-open 1 side to fix a rubber gasket I damaged and cleaned it out thoroughly before re-assembly. I guess I'll have to check again and take a close took to see which side is leaking and re-do that 1 side. Luckily working on the Cosworth makes removing the plenum a breeze. Only 6 allen bolts and 2 nuts...Nothing like working on the stock set-up. And the engine bay has so much more free space it seems, overall just a cleaner way to go.

Oh and by the way, has anyone broken off that metal tab that is apparently glued to the passenger side rear corner of the CF end cap? Mine just snapped off. I hope that is not where its now leaking from...I'll have to take a closer look. I am hoping to just use some Gorilla glue and stick it back on. It's only purpose for me is not major - I could certainly live without it, but it supports my Boost Controller solenoid so nicely. Any advice on repairing that is appreciated. Not sure if Gorilla Glue will be able to withstand the heat of the engine bay. Open to suggestions.

I think I'll just use this stuff to fix the bracket:

Here is a little taste as to how well it works: (enjoy)

i wish that bracket would come off my plenum cleanly. Its not being used.

Also, loctite doesnt work until its dried. So if you ran the car before it dried, the bolts could easily back themselves out again.

Haven't even discussed cost. I am hoping to get a replacement under some form of warranty as I have only owned the Cosworth for about 3 weeks.
I'll let you know what I find out.

Man...if I didn't have Bad Luck, I'd have no Luck at all!

What do you have Danny? Passenger or Driver side? In good solid working condition? No cracks or blemishes? Cosworth told me that they have blemished replacements avail now and a slight back-order on new clean ones. (backed-up 3-4 weeks.

It is the passenger side with the bracket, brand new in the bubble wrap. I bought an extra when I took my bracket off mine just incase I screwed it up.

I used a heat gun and pulled the bracket off, then used sandpaper with the cap masked off starting at 180, going all the way up to 600, then buffed the cap after.
