I'll definately be making it to ZdayZ next year.....

Yeah, Great to meet you Thom. Your car is such a freakin sleeper!!!!!! its ridiculous! So unsuspecting, and it does so well for your minimalistic approach. SImple build with Turbos and cams. No unnecessary mods like most of us out there (myself included).
And its a beast. Wish we had some more time to have a match up. I'm sure if the strip was long enough you would have spanked me around, so I'll be looking for some really short tracks when I'm next in Chi-Town. Haha.

Thanks for the support while I was there.

The Good, The Bad, The Results:

Unfortunately due to my time constraints, we did not have the opportunity to get a before and after dyno comparison with exhaust and without exhaust cut-outs. The results are final and include the Addition of the Cosworth in place of the Crawford intake manifold and the addition of the boost actuated exhaust cut-out.

Previous set-up & numbers:

Built motor, Greddy TT, Greddy EVO TT exhaust and Crawford set-up: Yielded 686 rwhp

Built Motor, Greddy TT, Greddy Exhaust w/cut-out and Cosworth yielded: 693 rwhp

I was anticipating a loss of anywhere near 50 rwhp with the removal of the Crawford and replacing it with the Cosworth, based on my discussion with Larry. But again the purpose of going with the Cosworth was not for performance enhancement. I was quite happy with the previous set-up, but the problem was functional...The raised set-up prevented me from closing the hood. But while making modifications, I did not want to take a hit, so why not use this trip as an excuse to get another mod to offset this loss.

Seems to have worked out well after all was said and done. Top notch work as always and took advantage of getting my hands on the 1st Z-designed SP Catch Can.

why couldnt you just unplug the cutout for a "before" and after?

be interesting nonetheless to see how much the curve shifted to the left with the cutout with comparison dyno charts.

Because, the crew was running themselves down to the ground (Larry included) helping get my car ready, as well as several others and I needed to get back to NY. I left as soon as Larry finished that last dyno pass.
Plain and Simple.

A bunch of dyno high power runs followed by a 12 hour road trip. And service with a smile. Well... kind of a Mona-Lisa smile (if you know Larry), but a smile none-the-less. Gotcha Larry! LOL

Anybody want another Egg-McMuffin? - inside joke.
