Just used it yesterday to clear a code. Worked great. Fast and no problems at all.

Seems really cool I just don't like the idea of something hanging off the ODBII port constantly..anyone thought of hardwiring (with quick disconnect) or adding a 2nd ODBII port or something?

I got mine. Its definitely cheaply made. Its cool with what it does. Im working on a hyundai with a TPS problem and it showed me the TPS percentage while using the throttle.

yeah it feels cheaply made but it does the job....

HOWEVER..

I was having some problems with mine today.. I did read somewhere on there forums that some people were having problems with draining the battery... and something similar to that happened to me today.. about 30 min ago, at 1am.. the worst night of my life... all of a sudden my car just turns off in the middle of driving.. I dont want to give any more details out.. I have to do more testing tomorrow to find out that if the ULTRAGAUGE caused the problem or not.

Ill update soon.

i actually had an issue with my tach not working with the UG which kinda put my car in limp.. They said I had to force the 9141 protocol. There's a option on the main menu to force the protocol.

yesterday I did notice.. my tach needle ( RPM ) was very very bouncy.. like it would drop and spike!.. NEVER done that before... and it threw the ABS,break and slip light on.. I have to do more research about it. Im going to get my alternator checked today and drive my car without the UG being connected.

try to force the 9141 protocol on the gauge. It's on the main menu "force protocol"

I didn't have a problem after I forced it.

I found out on the hyundai I was working on the TPS percentage wasnt reading properly. The TPS was the problem but when I put it in the car the gauge didnt read right. So i'm thinking "****" its something else. Well the check engine light didnt come back on and the car was driving 10 times better. On the gauge the TPS never moved from 1 percent. The IAT and coolant temp seemed to be reading properly though...

I still like it for what it is and I'm getting used to it. It will help me with backyard fixes.

I hope the gauge does not cause problems as I've got one coming over to me in the UK. I need it to check my coolant temps due to the over heating probs I've been having. Im looking to mount it in the cubby or make a custom pod and dash mount it.

King baby post pic's of where you have yours?

Also Vas what year is you zed dude? My cars MY03 so i hope it dont have and probs with the Gauge/ecu!

mines 03. I did do a lot of testing yesterday.. I got the alternator checked ( thinking it was the problem that caused my car to shut off.. ) but that passed with flying colors..

I plugged the UG back up and I did force protocol.. and its been perfect since yesterday.. no needle jumping, no weird slip light...

Id highly recommend everyone doing this..
