What was your DynoJet elevation reading?
Even tho i'm producing low numbers on my car (304whp on DynoJet, my SC setup https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-sc-setup.html), and i'm at sea level, i was wondering what was the dyno elevation parameters set on when you dyno'ed yours?
where i am, DynoJet is set to 4500 elevation.. don't ask me why, because i'm trying to figure out if i should compare my gains with everyone else.
Ppl with 5AT Vortech SC kit + 2.87" pulley on a stock block, can you please chim in with this kind of details?

when you get the time (even tho i don't think you're on a DJ), ask your dyno/tuner about the elevation numbers.
problem is, i don't think it's set correctly on the dyno. that's why i'm looking for someone with the similar setup to see if i can compare power output we got.
i think it's only set on the dyno winpep software.

I use a DJ. Winpep is the software DJ's use. How did you see elevation?

i asked for it...
looks like 4500ft is the default. but it shouldn't be that.
so if we compare your setup to mine when you had the stock intercooler, it all pours into the tune + weather.

I would think so...more tune than anything else since the weather should not affect much at all due to the correction factors ( Whether they are SAE or STD or whatever ).
482whp 450 ft lbs torque
i'm getting tuned at injected, which lexington ky is around 1000ft and i live basically at sea level. I wonder if it'll make much of a difference.

Wouldn't your numbers be higher because the dyno thinks it is at 4500ft and would correct the altitude sea level. Depending on how the dyno is set up. I know I am at 5000ft DA then the dyno corrects it to sea level but if your already at sea level and the dyno thinks your at 4500ft then corrects it wouldn't that make the number higher.
It would depend on how the correction factors are set up on the dyno.

e.g. a car dyno'ed 300whp on 450ft elevation, what's it gonna be on 4500ft elevation?
post your info when you find it.
thanks

where do you live in IA that is at sea level? I'm in st louis for school and i'm right on the mississippi and we are still at about 500ft elevation. I figured all around the miss river it was about 500ft elevation.
and it won't effect it. That's why we tune to VE. It makes adjustments to the car. I didn't have a single problem from Lexington to st louis or my hometown in indiana which is 650ft.
