thats fine. all depends on what his base is.
62-14 = 48psi base. perfectly fine
52-14 = 38psi base. if the car starts with no problems, even better.
fuel pumps flow more with lower pressure or higher voltage.
You want your base fuel pressure as low as you can without starting issues. That way when you boost, you are still getting good flow from the pump

the car was tuned as i mentioned earlier, and all was perfect. the car felt sooooooo much powerful and i got even better response that before, it doesnt feel that much laggy ( compared to before the tune, but its still lil laggy ) .. and i asked the tuner to set two maps for me:
- low boost: without methanol: tuned on 11 psi and was planning to drive it on 8 psi ( A/F set to 10.9-11.2 )
- highboost: with methanol : 14psi ( A/F 11.7-11.9 )
after driving the car for couple of days, i noticed that the high boost map is showing 10.2 A/F @ woot. ..!!!!! and low boost map is showing 10.8-11.2 A/F ??!!!!
what do you guys think !!???

Now as for the inconsistency of the air fuel ratio under boost, this will happen sense you are using the unship witch uses maf Clamping so once you maf reach the clamp setting your tune is working of the fuel press regulator one to one ratio. Note that it only takes 6 psi of boost to reach the max voltage of your stock maf .

that will be even worse as there is no filter at all on there.
yeah, but the problem is that the feul is acting up. sometimes i get low pressure, sometime i get high pressure. so the tune is getting mixed up.

so what do you guys suggest !!!!
now after cleaning up the filter ( 70% cleaned ) the fuel pressure is dropping too much ..
on idle 52psi
4500 RPM around 60psi
and its keep dropping till 48psi. and i let go the gas. so that i dont risk it.

well i meant if you problems stemmed from dirty tank... but if you cant hold fuel pressure while boosting, your fuel pump is shot or you are making too much HP.
If you are making less than 500whp then a single pump is fine. If you are making over 600whp, then you want to switch to the twin pump.
You'll want to drain your gas tank and clean it thoroughly before adding the twin pumps.

the twin pump does have pump pickup filters on it like any typical intank setup... but there was no room to integrate the post pump small micron filter like the OEM pump assembly. An external fuel filter, such as a billet aeromotive 10 micron, should be installed when using our twin pump. Or a pair of OEM filters from misc applications could be used as a less expensive alternative.

update:
- Twin pump installed and the fuel pressure is just perfect now .. will be doing a tuning session soon.
- Increased the RPM to 7500 ( thaks Sam@GTM )
- installed AEM water/Meth

so, i was thinking where to install the AEM methanol kit since the bottle i have is quite big and have the full trunk utilized for the sound system ..
so i found the answer .. dont think that anyone did that before ( as far as i know )
Bye bye BOSE
tataaaaa
intercooler sprayer.. i am using the snow performance bottle for that.
just thought of sharing it so that ppl might have new options.

well... nos is out of the equation at all..
what do you think would cause the lag then !!!.. i cannot find any justification to that..
a friend of mine drove the car and he said " WOW. it feels like a supra with T88 turbo.." a very noticable lag but once it gets into boost. its just a rocket..

why do people on this forum want to race at 2800 rpms? just downshift
*also verify there isn't a boost leak but from the sound of it this is normal spool for a gt30 sized turbo setup
