isnt he running the gtm stage 2 kit? has the gt28's with the bigger ar if im not mistaken

hmm, well that's a bit of an issue then.

The power is there though. You have over 500tq at 4400 rpms which is really good.

maybe look into a boost leak or possible exhaust leak at the manifold or turbo inlet gasket

 

I will check that, but I still doubt it's a leak.. As the boost is some how very stable.

I am thinkaybe tuning !!! ( cams tuning to be more specific. )
Maybe my choice of cams was not right !!??
Maybe the intercooler is too big ( I don't know !!!! )

looks like cam choice to me , i was seeing max spool around 3500 rpm on the same kit on my HR but it was stock block so higher compression, with your cams and the low compression the 4k line seems normal to me

 

The GTM stage 2 kit uses .86 turbine which is kinda big, so you feel the power kick in in the upper RPM. You will notice the car pulls very hard after 5500rpm all the way to 8000rpm.

 

what are your oil temps looking like with it behind the intercooler??? any issues with it like that?

 

update:

Retuned the car on UPREV and damn i love the response.. the response issue was more on the tune..

i got excited and ordered couple of new stuff

- Installed 800cc injectors. ( installed )
- New Spark plugs. ( installed )
- Uprev GT MAF ( on the way )
- Haltech Dual A/F controller ( on the way )
- Custom Gauge that displays two outputs.. will hook it to the haltech to show Bank1 and 2 A/F (on the way)

once the maf arrive we will install and retune the car on 19 psi .. wooot.

I have a similar proget under construction and i'm curious to see new dyno sheet with uprev..

 

Update:

Retuned the car on 16 psi: got 620whp ... Woot

Was not enough, so I installed Crawford intakes and on 16 psi got 690whp (without meth) ... We couldn't continue cause the clutch was slipping...


Was very impressed with the gains from the intake manifold..
All I did was intake and cleaned my filters..
Weather was colder.
