Hey all, I am wanting to know what the make is of the cam bearing GTM uses for there Vortech belt/pulley kit. I read in another thread its Cam idler bearing off an eclipse. Now what model? Anyone know if its the new V6 eclipse or the older dodge engine 420A? I have plenty off 4g63's and that idler looks the same but is of set by a .25 of an inche. Any help would be awesome. THis would also help people track down idler bearing for approx 25$ and a gates belt from Napa for 65$. (MONEY SAVER

 

Bump. No one has pursued this. Anyone have a best guess?

 

All bearings have part numbers on them, and for most part can be removed from an idler.

Typical bearing part number would be 6002 or 6203...ect. So if you can get to it, it would probably be $5 at your local bearing/drive store. Very easy to remove old and install new one. Assuming this is a serpentine belt idler.

 

I think what you are looking for is the Gates T42028 pulley.
