Default Factory oil pressure and temp sensors

Figured the FI section has the most experience with engine management so I was wondering if anyone has completely taken out the factory oil temp and oil pressure sensors? I can find no DTC's that reference these sensors in the FSM but I dont want to remove them to only find that the car will be stuck in limp mode. This is on a revup motor with a haltech.

Not totally the same but similar. 2004 G35 none rev up. So it is an oil pressure switch that controls the light in cluster rather than a gauge. I just disconnected wire to said pressure switch and now the light just never comes on. I placed my gauge sensor in that position. So for yours it should be fine but the factory gauge just will always read 0.
