Default VENDORS- piece for me a long block capable of holding 500-550whp.

Let's see what I'm looking at in terms of $$$

I'm interested in:
eagle rods
wisco pistons
whatever cams are best with a Vortech and stock springs/head
bearings
gaskets
timing chains ( my engine has 85K miles )
whatever else is needed to do the build.

I want the cheapest/reliable setup possible. I'm not looking for exotic stuff to get 1000whp, but I don't want an engine that will blow with 500whp.

HOW MUCH $$$ AM I LOOKING AT IN PARTS?

They seem to have the lowest prices. Although I would be looking for a good shop to do the labor rather then pricing out parts. Ive been pricing my build for the last month and with shop labor + parts for a build like your looking for is going to cost me around $5,500....not including re-tune and injectors. Im just trying to find a longblock for cheap somewhere now to start the build while im still driving around on my stock block.

u might want to look into a built tranny if u're looking to get into the 500whp range. Also I would recommend upgrading to the T trim with CAMS and pnp head.

estimated pricing:
built tranny -3K
motor - 4K
cams - 1K
T-trim upgrade -1300
EMS ie vpro or haltech - 4K
injectors 800cc - 400
stage 2 fuel line - 1K

Have fun bc the list keeps getting bigger

he has a 928 Motorsports Impeller for the V2..
so I would take the T-trim off the list

EDIT: he also has Osiris as EMS so Take that off the list also..

and you end up with aprox 10K lol

I would take the T Trim off the list as well with the 928 impeller plus the T Trim upgrade cost $600 from vortech. I also dont think you need a build tranny pr vro/haltch

I just finished installing 750cc injectors.

Stage 2 fuel line won't make my engine stronger

if I were you id get the stage 1 from ipp and add the L19s, molly coated pistons, and a good HD. it is a 650+whp block at a very affordable price IMO

Id do the S1 shortblock, in my years on here, it seems to be the most proven out of all the vendors and from people I know rag their cars, not the lady boy posers.

You better do something about that transmission like mentioned as well...

u have to understand that it's not just the motor u have to upgrade but other supporting mods or things will break faster.

ie. if fuel system isnt there then u aren't going to make any pw no matter how big the injectors u have.
