You will only be in vacuum, so it will be no different than running with the SC out of boost.
Yup, assuming the tune isn't super rich in the vacuum wot cells also.

What type of inspection do you actually have to pass, visual and is there an emissions portion as well?

they don't concentrate much on emissions as much as visuals and performance upgrades.

so op..what about ur exhaust and all the other mods? im confused with this whole ordeal..why would they be ok but the vortech not ok...wouldnt they pop the hood seeing ur other mods..seems like a losing battle if that is really how ur inspection is...sounds like if u dont have any emission check or obd scan u just have to pass a visual which shouldnt be a hard time finding someone for that to pass u without taking anything off

in terms of visuals/exterior: body/chassis damage, vinyls, salad bar spoilers.. basically, RICE = fail. LOL!

in terms of performance/engine work, it's not allowed to have a different engine in ur engine bay other than the OEM engine. i.e. an engine swap = fail, a modified block that doesn't sound stock = fail.. load exhaust = fail, drone = fail... so if i have to rev, i have to be careful with the throttle.

and they don't care much about emission, if the car puffs smoke, then it's fine, if it's too much, then it fails.

it's really tough to get a performance car registered. but some of the inspectors appreciates us enthusiasts, and ignore those rules and pass the car in inspection.

when i asked about WOT, i'm not planning to do so, i'm just wondering what would happen. and yes, it makes sense that it's going to be rich since the tune is already rich on boost.

now, taking out the cog belt will shut off the BPV too?

it wouldnt. He has a full tune. I ran my car without the belt all the time and it ran 13:1 at WOT just like i tuned my vaccum cells to do. Why would you tune your any of your vacuum cells overly rich. Are you saying your -1psi at 6000 rpms cells are blank and not tuned? of course not.

the bypass valve isnt bypassing extra air from the supercharger, so no more noise..

BUT, it is now the new air intake, since air is not being pulled in thru your airfilter on the supercharger anymore. Good idea to put a filter on the BPV at that point.

Worse than California. Just give up modding your car and find another hobby.
