Default My Vortech Supercharged 350Z Dyno (455whp)

Took my lady to the dyno and done some fine tunning to it using pump gas (91oct) + water/meth (50/50). Managed to get 455whp/355wtq

another fine example of solid USABLE power from a vortech!

but umm, i'd be concern how on your AFR on water/meth into the higher rpms! Thats a good way to make a dyno queen #, which might have been the case. But I would not run that tune on the street!!! That engine failure all over it!!!

Thanks guys... In the video You can clearly notice the wideband sensor falling during the run. AFR remained constant till redline

Yeah... Don't think I'm gonna set 18:1 AFR just get those extra ponies

We managed to sustain it @ 11.9-12:1 the whole WOT using the Fcon's AFR/knock amplifier.

Running a low compression engine 8.5:1 & 800cc dw injectors.

When I came to build this engine, I wanted a safe setup for pump gas to be run on tracks (road racing) givin that we have a crappy 91oct pump gas

Another thing, I also wanted a setup that could (when I can afford) handle 600whp twins that might get fixed in the future

2.87 pulley. However, I have sent my SC for a rebuild due to a seal issue and had the impeller changed to give 2~3psi more. The dyno run was at 15psi.

Trying to remember the name of the shop that buil my blower. Was a couple of years ago. Will post it once I find it

I guess I could gain more HP with race gas at the same setup with a bit more timing.

Looking at my torque level and HP, this amount of power is very drivable and fun on a fairlady

Walbro 255, CJ stage 2 fuel system, deachwerks 800cc injectors controlled by an HKS Fcon along with the HKS AFR/knock amplifier. Tunned by Hosam Al Taib from MCC Performance.

Using a snow performance meth kit running the second nozzle with 50/50 water/meth ratio and 91oct pump gas
